@totaldefender2011 It's a Fender American Special Tele. I bought it a few years ago and really like it. My #1 Tele is a 2006 Deluxe Ash, but this one is a close second. It (special) has a little more Tele "twang" to it with the Brass saddles and Texas Specials. Hope to add more to my collection soon.
@totaldefender2011 Thanks! I used GHS Boomers 10-46 guage but recently switched to 10-52. I will give it time to see if I like the thicker bottom strings. Also, this is a Fender American Special Telecaster w/Texas Special pup's. All stock except for Fender Locking tuners. Great guitar for the money! Thanks for the comment!
i'm such a FAN of your playing sir - sooooo gooood! This could be on my radio crusin' down the road all day - honestly wish i could steal everything you do!!!
@calebsj Thanks! I'm not much of a theory guy, but I mainly stay in Cm Pentatonic and add a few half slides up to notes for flavor. The key changes to Am around the 1:30 mark and goes back to Cm. The Dorian scale will also work nicely over this track as well. Thanks for the comment!
@dutyandhumanity Thanks! I had quite a few Steely Dan vid's on my channel before I accidentally deleted them all. Ugh! I will post some new ones very soon. Thanks again for the comment!
Is there a more tasteful guitar player on YouTube? I think not. The only thing that is heartbreaking it that his tone is ALSO always perfect. What does this mean? 1) He has incredible ears. 2) That so much of what we consider magical "tone" is simply incredible musicianship. Just astounding.
@stanculler Thanks for the comment! I read it from my phone today and it made my day. I really appreciate you taking the time and glad you enjoyed it.
@yvanbister Guitar Port is pretty limiting, but I do my best to tweak it with different cabs and fx. During the fuzz part it helps a lot by rolling off the guitars tone a little bit. Thanks for the comment!
Beautiful playing man, that Tele sounds fantastic.

Sounds so good you could play with Steely Dan and that is a great achievement ...ever think of including some more of their stuff on your site?

How in the world do you get such a beautiful tone out of a Line 6 Port :O My lil UX1 sounds like crap most of the time :(
