hmm I have AS and I was a weird fucked up kid back in the day who screwed it up with several people. It all came to a head almost 4 years ago where I had suicidal thoughts and thoughts of hurting others. Luckily, I had a counsellor who stopped me and I went to a gym for a bit and I met my first ex gf amongst other things. And even though these negative experiences have come back to haunt me - I know that I've changed and that people like me and appreciate me for who I am xD

"Suicidal" and "Depression" will have different definitions to different people. Its all based on the situation, type of person...opinion. Its not going to be the same for everyone. In my opinion I think that every person in the world has thought about killing themselves at least once. do they actually have to attempt it to be labeled "suicidal"? Probably not. again, that's dependent on the individual. everyone has their own opinion there is no use arguing about it or judging.

Also therapy. Some people are able to shake themselves out of their own depression, but others reach such a horrible point that they may need professional help to become at least borderline sane.
I'm trying to eliminate the source of my depression by switching schools and getting away from the bitches , but my parents are making me stay the whole year , and I don't know if I can do that . :l sometimes I wonder what value I have in this world , if any.

@RemorseOfTheImposter that's not true. medication fixes the chemical imbalance that all the members of my family suffer from. some medications can deaden emotions, but in that case i would suggest switching medications. all the medication did was take away the feeling that nothing was worthwhile and i might as well kill myself.
for the record i'm not on the meds right now and i feel the same as when i was. because they put me in balance.

I'm trying to eliminate the source of my depression by switching schools and getting away from the bitches , but my parents are making me stay the whole year , and I don't know if I can do that . :l sometimes I wonder what value I have in this world , if any.

@sarahlikesfun1101 Hey! :) I've been bullied at school, too. The thing that helped me go through these hard times was the thought of having goals, dreams and all, that I should accomplish or reach. You can talk, you can walk, you can write, you have an opinion about things, have a unique way of looking at life. Everybody has these things, but who they are to say you're less than them? We're all equal? Follow your dreams and never give up, no matter what they say. :)

Fighting!! ...In the kdramas I watch thats usually meant as a word of encouragment, not actual fist/verbal fighting. I know it sucks to have rude people around you, but yknow what? Since we're kids we have nothing else better to do than to bitch at other people. In the real world, most people have no time for that. They have jobs, and people they care about to think about...they don't have time to start drama,yknow? Just hang in there, lovely~ :D

@sarahlikesfun1101 none. you have no value. as long as you keep thinking about that youll get worse and worse. find what you good at and try your best to excell. ignore all the faggots that try to put you down. it really helped me. i got to the point were i held the gun up and pulled the trigger but the bullet was disalligned so it was a dud. i then tried my best at what i loved now im perfectly happy with no worrie in the world other than my grades :)

@RemorseOfTheImposter that's not true. medication fixes the chemical imbalance that all the members of my family suffer from. some medications can deaden emotions, but in that case i would suggest switching medications. all the medication did was take away the feeling that nothing was worthwhile and i might as well kill myself.
for the record i'm not on the meds right now and i feel the same as when i was. because they put me in balance.

Not always as simple as distancing yourself from it, i myself have had these thoughts mainly due to my crippling shyness which has left me with no social life what so ever and i've tried and tried to get it sorted and make friends but i always end up getting let down/used, which in turn makes me feel even worse cus i wonder what's wrong with me i consider myself a decent person but nobody gives me the time of day to let me show THEM i am, good video though greg thanks.

i suffer from chronic depression i'm not suicidal anymore but sometimes just finding a purpose is not enough therepy and medical help is needed and i encourage him to go for this option i did and it is helping me because the chemicals in my brain had shifted enough i needed meds not every one needs meds but some do to get better

Things became better for me once I actually started dying and went to the emergency room. Nothing like that to put your whole life in perspective. I had been severely depressed since I was 11. It took 8 years without help until I finally overdosed on my medicine. Point is get help immediately. Because I was lucky to still be alive.
