Hamas are bad for conducting terrorism against Israeli civilians but Israel has been terrorising the Palestinian people for over 60 years since 1948 when they drove 700,000 Palestinians from their homes at gun point. If Israel did not treat the Palestinian people so badly it would not suffer any terrorism.

The only ignorance is yours. Hamas are the democratically elected representatives of the Gazan people. Their armed resistance is not terrorism, it is a justified response to overwhelmingly more destructive Israeli attacks. The Gazan people support this resistance, as do I.

'Hamas are holding their own people hostage'? The Palestinians, not just Gazans, displaced from their homes, have been the victims of more than half a century of oppression. Hamas are a legitimate and widely supported political organisation who have improved the lives of people living in the largest prison camp on earth. The latest ceasefire was breached by the Israelis on November 4th, not by Hamas, who have a right to defend themselves and their fellow Palestinians.
