I might add that kayaking is not the only thing to do on this wonderful river. there are gorgeous camping areas, awesome marked trails, rough areas as well as areas easily accessible to the elderly. The scenic beauty is unsurpassed IMO and I'm a world traveller.
My children wife and I love the cossatot river. We don't kayak, but we've seen you guys there. We wade and bbq. They've really tamed the area fast in the past couple years. Awesome 13 mile stretch of arkansas river.

Cossatot is amazing. Its my favorite place in arkansas for camping / leisure backpacking. Haven't had much luck fishing there though =/
