This is not just about line of sight but the onboard flash doing preflashes and making people blink. Nikon should come up with a system with other means. I now use the flex and mini because of the issue.

this is simply perfect. he shoots weddings alone from what i understand and this method is so perfect and so simple. no assistant? no worries. use a tripod, keep the subject/s 10-15' away, lock exposure, and shoot away with pocket wizards, buffs, etc. BRAVO Cliff!!!

Great video and well explained. I'm thinking of investing in the Mini TT1 and 2x Flex TT5, but at reasonably short distances isn't the Nikon CLS just as good at no extra cost (I'm also using SB 900)

@benryan1 , Nikon CLS has 1 flaw.... line of sight Inferred sensor.... I wish they can do something about it..
