My brother has a 3 year old Asus Notebook. It's now falling to pieces due to a hinge, which first didn't want to move sometimes, then broke the frame of the display.

Now he has an EEEPC.

It's not a powerful netbook, but the ~6-8 hours of battery life is kind of crazy.

one 2 years ago and one last year that had problems. 1st one had really bad wifi speeds and kept disconnecting and neither could play youtube videos properly. I know it's not really asus' fault and probably because of the atom. But if the iphone processor can handle youtube video maybe they should use a better processor.

@CRAKIZGOOD had trouble playing even at low quality. my samsung one this year had the same problem. would only play without any issues if i used their oc utility. i might just have been unlucky at got bad ones but don't think I would buy one again any time soon. ok the battery life and keyboards are good.
