Its not that man. In order to get true sound attentuation you need to use the supressor in conjunction with the proper ammo. The reason why people say there is not that much of a difference is because there is not that much of a difference if you did not change your ammo because the round still goes super sonic. You would have needed to have gotten some sub-sonic 5.56 in order to really show the difference.
Yes, but unfortunately using subsonic 5.56 ammunition really defeats the purpose of using such a powerful rifle. I mean, standard 9x19 ammo isn't even subsonic. I think the speed if sound is roughly 1,100 FPS (don't quote me, but it's AROUND there), so weakening 5.56 to that point you might as well not even be using 5.56 anymore because it's going to be inaccurate, it's probably going to tumble a bit, it won't fragment properly AT ALL, etc.

The suppressor was highly effective. You can really tell the supersonic crack of the bullet when the muzzle blast is tamed.

Standard .223 is greater than 1050 fps. The natural laws of physics dictate that you can only do so much to attenuate noise.

I used standard ammo because thats what I wanted to use to show the difference suppressed and unsuppressed standard ammo.
