  • @SuperJane99 a book on the battle of britain by paval vancatta (a czech writer) shows that the raf lost 399 aircraft to 612 luftwaffe lost in august, and 303 squadron only had 1 kill and their first on august 30th, they had most of their kills in september yet the performance of the RAF in the battle of britain didn't improve that month and they lost 414 to luftwaffe loss of 554 aircraft.

  • Proszę powiedz jak się nazywa ta piosenka

  • @axsel6622 to jest jakis Wycinek z Piratów z Karaibów. ale jaki to nie pamietam.

  • My Grandad was in this Squadron!

  • Great slideshow! I greatly enjoyed it and I think this needs more views.

    p.s. What is the song!?!?!

  • Look for the documentary 'The Polish Battle of Britain'. It contains the truth.

  • Many of these pilots committed suicide after the war BECAUSE of the actions of Britain and America. Look for the truth.

  • Praise God for the Poles!!! You forgot to mention though, the heinous betrayal of the Poles by Britain and America after the war. They were handed back to Stalin and Winston Churchill and Roosevelt are responsible for the decades of Polish suffering AFTER the war. Post WWII there was a grand parade past the British king and the Poles were not invited. This action, to a friend who had helped, in no small measure, to win them their freedom, is WORSE than everything Hitler did.

  • In spring of 1941 my mother was evacuated from Manchester to Blackpool. She was only 7. She was billeted at a waterfront inn where there were also a half dozen Polish pilots who had just been evac'd from Dunkirk. They helped take care of my mom and her sisters while they awaited orders from the RAF. They taught my mom the Polish national anthem and she can still sing it word perfect. These pilots would go on to form the RAF 303!

  • @RAF71chingachgook oh, sorry I meant to say Spring of 1940!

  • @RAF71chingachgook Poles were honoruble people and great warriors did not deserve Yalta traitory. I am glad that you told that argument on forum always defend Poland and her citizens, we did so MUCH for Europe and have received only TRAITORY and SELLING OUR LAND AND PEOPLE to communists.

  • i think ww3 is overdue

  • for real ... I would die for our contry that time ... for not seeing what is happening right now ... i would suffer every wound to be a hero ...

  • "Peace is a precious and a desirable thing. Our generation, bloodied in wars, certainly deserves peace. But peace, like almost all things of this world, has its price, a high but a measurable one. We in Poland do not know the concept of peace at any price. There is only one thing in the lives of men, nations and countries that is without price. That thing is honor."Jozef Beck 5 May 1939

  • i luv the bravery of these pilots having lost 2 granmothers brothers that were in raf at that time, they are people that died young and im p very proud to know, unlike the brits snubbing this team of born fighters defending them, i feel ashamed of churchil not reconzing this group thogh there was canadians brits and a few mad czechs, i luved the mad czech he went into france knowing h wouldnt return he ha a score of 18 down ,no petrol knew wasnt coming back, i bet he close to 19:)

  • I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY NOW BRITISH PEOPLE SPEAK TO POLISH WORKERS IN U,K BACK TO YOUR COUNTRY .

NOW WE HAVE FREEDOM EUROPE SO DON'T FORGET HISTORY AND PLEASE RESPECT POLISH NATIONS ...

  • The Poles also led the fight for freedom in the 80s.

  • @california2328 Quite right, while Europe was holding it's "collective breath", the deciding stroke was signed at the "Round Table" in Warsaw which in turn released the "flood gates"of freedom.......P.S. In 1920 the newly re-born Polish state stopped bolshevism in it's tracks, had it not been for the "Miracle at the Vistula" most of Europe then would have been singing the "International"

  • 01.09.1939 - The German has attacked the Poland.

17.09.1939 - The Soviet Union has attacked the Poland.

Our "allies" have left us alone :P

  • @lisekSL It`s because France and England wasn`t "allies" but "All - lies"

  • So many lies in one small film :-)

No. 303 Polish Squadron destroyed 44 enemy aircraft in Battle of Britain (John Alcorn)

Polish historian Jerzy B. Cynk gives him 62, but this is doubtful. He is very optimistic. :-)

Squadron lost at least 26 Hurricanes, but some of other 29 demaged should be beyond repair.

    Thanks for reading.

  • Britain gave us to Stalin though 200 000 of Polish soldiers had sacrificed their lifes for the West. Now the Polish people in the UK pass for the worse scum and are treated like dog shit by them. We must be together with our real friends: Hungarians, Slovaks and Czechs.

  • @arkadiusz432 200,000 Polish soldiers did not scrafice themselves for the Wets, The Nazis invaded YOU. And Britain and France declared war on Germany because Poland was invaded.

Do theyn have history books in Poland ?

  • @ScottishCaledonian

"declared" . It was your help for us.

  • Allies ecpecially Britain were good in talking, they declared war to Germany but that was only words. They had too much to lose. Nobody occupied their country, nobody shoot to innocent people on their streets or tortured them for nothing. Of course i don't blame ordinary people, it was all politician fault.

  • POLSKA !

  • I like Poland and Polish. Always did, always will.

  • Anyway, apart from the dickbrain who attacked me - who probably isn't even Polish - I have no problem with Poles.

    Never did, never will have.

  • @daveedslater I am Polish as well you fucker, I live in the Netherlands and trust me no one likes you Irish, so don't ever compare Poland to shitty Ireland again.

  • @Tommyfungun I love you too.

  • @daveedslater Mother fucker.

  • @Tommyfungun Tommy, seriously, I do love you. XXX

  • i sugghest that the next time you get into a taxi driven by a polish man, that you thank him for what his forfathers did!!

  • They were all quickly shipped to GB and resettled here. Wonder what would have happened if this did take place... maybe we wouldn't have had a cold war. Polish Generals refused to take part in VE celebrations as Poland had not in their eyes been liberated, which is true. Not because they were not invited - Stalinist propaganda. (BTW... The temporary Polish Government in PL was also sent invitations. They also chose not to attend.)

  • I have the honour to have spoken to Krasnodębski and Urbanowicz. These Pilots were trained in Poland on PZL p11 and given Hurricanes for BOB - Not spitfires (well done for showing the BOB with a Hurricane as 80% were!) No doubt they were the best. Can I add - 2nd Polish Corp in Italy (British 8th Army) was quickly demobilized as GB was afraid to have an army of nearly 1/4 million Poles ready to cross over Austria to Poland and Fight USSR!

  • i would recommend the book Lynne Olson i Stanley Cloud ''A QUESTION OF HONOR'' in polish as well ''SPRAWA HONORU''

  • @wolverine1934

I would STRONGLY recommend this book as well. althought sometimes for non-Polish readers it might seem to present only one point of view, and be slightly biased. It is still a fantastic read. Full of details not only from WW2, but (to help understand certain aspects) also from other periods of Polish history.

  • google the untold story

  • I read that the "best " pilots overall, were the Norwegians!?

  • Andrew Mynarski V C.

  • No mention of Andrew Mynarski anywhere!?

  • thank you

  • let's not forget that after the war when the great parade of allied forces walked through the streets of London NONE of the Polish soldiers marched with them, excluded by the brits from the ceremonies in fear of Stalin's reaction...

  • Yeah very nive movie :)

I'am from Poland Squadron 303 was the best :)

  • wat truly moves about the pilots in this unit, is they broke orders flying over france knowing they had very little fuel to get back, usually suceeding on downing the german aircraft that went into that aero space

  • 303 squadron rule first up to fight , closest to the incoming germans ,and all heroes godrest ther e souls,uk was criminal ,ok you go first we will die after ,

  • @clara17uk Actually, you can read that the Polish pilots were held back, for training, and to learn English. But they wanted to go and fight ! But were still held back. Where did you hear your version?

  • @raystopher google 303 squadron in videos if you use firefox you can see the programme its in 4 parts about an hour long. i first saw it on the history channel, hope it works :)

  • a big thks to the poles 303 squadron who shot more planes down than any of us ,and not even mentioned ,godbless

  • Smashing! Absolutelly fantastic! The music is excellent. Batlle of Britain It is a remote history now but it still lives in our hearts.

  • Lacey54328 "they {Poles} were discriminated and abused by the English news papers"

I have friends who are 2nd generation Poles. They all say that they are not impressed with the newly arrived immigrants from Poland. In fact all of them now consider themselves English. One is a teacher in Southend and he says that the new intake of kids from Poland resemble Asians rather than Europeans. Of course they are not wanted in their own country so Britain provides a safe haven as it always has.

  • Polish people fought for an American independency they stilll teach in American schools about Kosciuszko there is town called Kosciuszko in America to show to Polsih People Americans remember

there was other Polish man Casimir Pulaski he saved life of George Washington

in the US Polish people are very respected. and? many Americans remeber Polish people died for the USA

  • @MegaAlice555 {in the US Polish people are very respected.}

When I lived in the US there were many jokes about Polish people....Not nice ones either. It didn't look like US people liked Poles very much. Mabye there are not so many Polish jokes now, at least in public. Sameas in the UK and jokes about the Irish. But I never heard one that was as bad as jokes about Polish in the US.

  • .

Polish people fought for France too. Napoleon Left Polish soldiers in Haiti etc to die. Frogs forgot it.

Polish Pilots were the best in British RAF many died for the shit hole i live in.

when the second world war ended Churchil forgot very quick what the Poles did. FAT Faggot.

  • @Lacey54328 "Polish Pilots were the best in British RAF many died for the shit hole i live in."

Polish pilots fought and died because the Germans invaded their country and the RAF gave them the ONLY means at that time to get back at the Nazis...Didn't some German pilots have Polish names..??

Britain & France committed themselves to a major war because Germany would not leave Poland.

When it was over GB was well & truly bankrupt.

If you don't like it in the UK.....Leave. Who's stopping you..?

  • Russian started killing Polish people just after second world war Ended

finally in 80's Russians left Poland.

Latter Poland joined EU Polish people started comming over looking for better life in Empire of Crumpets but everything they found was shittty life. living on the streets of London doing shitty jobs no matter what education they got or if they speak fluent english.

  • they were discriminated and abused by the English news papers English TV many many times they were called thefs living on English benefits even the werent entitled to any. but thats England ungratefull Bastards use and forget kill steal and forget. THIS is not good.

    I call this Place Anglonaziland

and GOD BLESS POLAND AND ALL POLISH PEOPLE.

  • Anyone seen Winter War {Talvisota}. That was how to fight against the odds. Finns can be proud while most of Europe just fell over under the jackboot, and their fighting men had to run to another country to continue the fight.

  • @TheDepotCat

Wonder how it would have even to odds if Germany had asked our pilots who fought some of the tough soviet pilots to help them. Fucking british pussies only reason why they won was because of poles, czechs, aussies and all other non-brits who they had in the RAF in summer 1940. Otherwise London would have fall to the nazis.

  • @ss90ss444 So you would like to have seen your Nazi allies defeat Great Britain. Sorry history has disappointed you. I imagine FAF pilots would have put up a good fight...But don't think that they would have swung the outcome of the BoB...Don't get too big for your booties boy.

  • @ss90ss444 Ha Ha you think Finland was capable of taking on the UK. Fighting in trenches in the snow against a poorly led enemy is what you are best at...and then only with Nazi help. When they started to get pushed back by the Soviets panic struck and Finland did a deal with the enemy. Leave the big wars to the big countries little boy.

  • Oh talking of education - It's Occurence...Not occurance :)

  • @Butchuk2007 Listen mate if are saying that killing 20 % of polish population was good(tbh i'm not suprised there was british historian who is saying that aushwitz was fake -you are not worth replying.Second thing is britain is not better for us-we can earn here more money and this is huge diffrence.Third thing is that britain wasnt under communism for 60 years and wasnt betrayed by Poland as our country by usa and england-but that was a good lesson for us in mind which we will keep in mind.

  • @ellroy85 Now where did I say that killing 20% of the Polish population was a good idea? For many Poles Britain IS clearly a better country to live & work as is Ireland. So Poland was betrayed by the USA and Britain? After Britain & France committed their countries to a major war with Germany because Germany refused to leave Poland, you then expect the Western allies already exhausted by the defeat of Nazi Germany to further commit to a major war with the USSR...Very selfish.

  • @Butchuk2007 Last thing-for us the most important thing in life is honour-but obviously you will never understand it because for U most important thing is money!

  • Bo Polacy są zajebiści :)

  • bez polski i polakow ten swiat byl by do niczego

  • The Poles and the irish. Two nations who have had to fight so hard for survival.

They have kept their identities through hardship - and have been proud of their sons and daughters abroad - in ways that other Europeans don't really understand.

The Polish and the Irish still have that warrior tradition.

Respect to all from 303 Squadron.

  • Yes, it was a team effort and everyone was needed equally. But still Polish pilots were aces in the sky :)

  • When Polish pilots get experience in combat Brits thing how to escape from war..even when Batle of Britan was begin thay was wery sceptic to give permision for combat flight to polish squadron...and thay problaby kill polish first minister General Wladyslaw Sikorski...

  • @PRG997 and all proven un true they did not kill him! and the comander of the air force was sir keith park and he had full respect of the air force and all the allies for takeing controle of the battle of britain

  • ohh Btw. my friend, it was not only German army, Polish soldiers were surrounded by Germans, Russians and Slovaks. We were alone facing two greatest powers of the Europe during that time! That is why Poland was the most destroyed country after WWII, we had no chances but we were fighting to the end!

So please correct that "Polish pilots and soldiers couldn't resist any more much bigger and better equipment German army", and it should be equipped as well :)

  • Dziękuję ci bardzo kolego za ten piękny filmik, naprawdę cudowanie wykonany!

By the way, I don't think that teenagers in the UK and other so-called Western nations learn during their history lessons about Polish contribution to their "allies" and how those allies betrayed Poland (well, it is not something to be proud of).

I have heard many times (in the UK) that Britain won the war and freed Poland O_o where they gained that knowledge, only the oldest native Americans know... (buahahha)

  • IF YOU EVER VONDER WHY POLES ARE COMING TO UK NOW ,THINK THAT YOU SOLD US OFF TO GERNANS AND RUSIANS ENSLAVING US FOR 70 YEARS NOW IS YOUR TIME TO PAY ,YOU OWE US

  • @zabawkarz Wrong!! It was america that sold poland, Winston wanted to keep on fighting to get russia out but america did not. Maybe because there would have been a ww3

  • Interesting. A good friend of ours said he flew with this squadron. His name is John Checketts. He said he flew in France. Did the squadron actually fly there?

  • @SugarTomAppleRoger

Yes before they went to Britain, but they weren't welcomed in France.

  • @Nowik1991 you should have put aces in exile by sabaton instead of this dramatic music but thats just in my opinion

  • @SugarTomAppleRoger Ask him if he knew an instrument mechanic, Senior Aircraftsmen Joseph Gilman - if he is still alive. My Grandad Joe Served with 303 (he's in his 90's now), there cant be many of them left now - Joe is currently in a nursing home with terminal cancer.

  • Superb!!! Music and pictures are just stunning. I am pround to be Polish. The Polish pilots are still remebered in the UK, although it is indeeded now a remote history for the youngsters ...

  • Re all Poles being marvellous and British useless. I have a Polish friend, her mother was in resistance agains Russians,so I know there are brave Poles. But my friend trusted two Polish decorators, she left them in her flat in London, and came home to find that they had stolen everything! Causing depression, " friends",Polish and British deserting her due to this. Even her relatives !

  • @raystopher No! Brits behave towards us in a superior!II always hear only in British opinion that the Poles are poor, they steal, and treat us as a country in Africa... Man Fuck You! Were you ever in Poland? Did you see how people live here? We, of course, still far in the wealth of western countries because "our dear allies" after the war sold us for Soviets! For what our country has backward to around 50 years! You know us only to poverty, which went to you in search of

  • I recomend book named : "Question of honor"

  • I was,nt around then, but regarding Britain giving Poland to Stalin, could,nt American Poles have done more for Poland? What did they do?

  • @raystopher They try made political pressure on Roosvelt.

Before his last reelection, He invite them(Polish Congresmens and Activists) into White House when he sweared: Polish Case is Ours Case.

He even posing to the photo with background presented Map of Poland before 1939 (this picture is somewhere in web).

But..... all this were only empty gesture, because Roosvelt recognize Stalin and S.U. as important support against Japan. Prize for this was Central and East Europe as S.U. zone.

  • Big shame on British and French cowards and traitors! Polish heroes never forgotten!!!

  • @starekino2 If Britain had been attacked by Germany first. Would Poland have helped us?

  • @raystopher

Yes, if sHitler attacked France or Britain first, Poles for sure strike on Germany from the east.

    Why?

Because we know what HONOR is.

We not left ours Allies like you in 1939 and 1944(Jalta)

  • @bpiotrAgain I did,nt leave them, I was,nt born.

These things are decided by greedy governments, not by the ordinary people.

Maybe if ordinary Britons had their way, they would have done th same as Poland, and waited until Germany attacked, it would have been easier, and saved a lot of British lives. But Britain declared war on Germany, because they attacked Poland. And like Poland Britain was not prepared, so could not do enough.

  • @raystopher work. 30% are honest working people, and 70% margin of social...Which we do not want in the country! Yes! Poland has a choice. It shows that British know about history! To the last Hermann Göring met met with our Foreign Minister to come to terms on the alliance against the Soviet Union...but have we considered to be part of Reich Gdańsk and give access to the sea! Hitler cared about allies. Look at the Hungarians and Romanians, are treated as the people.

  • @raystopher About preparation to War:

1.Poland dont mobilisied All of own Army (only 65%) because france and Britain made political pressure on Warsaw (dont angry sHitler).

    2. Polish Armies location were dictated by Alliance Pact with France and Britain who said: Poland from First day must used ALL of her strenght against Agression if she want help from Allies. This is BASIC reason why we put Everything on One Card.....

  • @bpiotrAgain

As you think, why S.U. attacked Poland only 17 Spetember 1939, despite Treaty with sHitler where he promised common action against Poland from first day?

Because Stalin wait on reaction Western Allies. When he was sure of that France and Britain not helped for Poland, then Red Army join to agression.

  • @raystopher That was saying: a one Polish division in Moscow more - a one German division in Moscow less. But Poland say NO! Poles have never wanted to fraternize with the Germans. Pity ...French and British forces had enough in 1939 to attack the Germans! Read More historic book please! Germany had only two infantry divisions on the border with France. A month after having exhausted their ammunition for aircraft... and you fucking that you had no strength to attack?

  • Comment removed

  • @raystopher The British hoped that Hitler will go over the corpse of Polish and Soviet attack, but for evil - Hitler was allied with Stalin. And here you have a problem. you assholes that can not be trusted.

I have a few friends the British - nice people. Complain about the weak system of teaching history in Britain...

Learn the history before you start writing nonsense.

    Greetings!

  • @raystopher

    3. If in 1939 Poland were Prepared to War (more Tanks and Planes), then she would not need any Ally treaty because she would give the council itself.

    f.example:

We won war with Soviet Union in 1919-21 without foreign Military help.

    --------------------------------------------------

About British preparation in 1939: what about yours Navy?

What About yours RAF? On land large army had France.

Yours (France+Britain)Strike from West, can end this Conflict maks. to October 1939.

  • @raystopher In 1933 when sHitler First Time piss on Versaile Treaty,

Poland proposed for France common Interwention against Germany.

France refused, and Nations League threatened with economic sanctions for Poland, because britain recognize Germany as anti-soviet zone in Europe.

Near future showed who have right.

Anschluss of Austria, Munchen Treason(1938), Phoney War 1939-40 = Bloody War in Europe to 1945 this were Successes of French-British diplomacy.

  • @bpiotrAgain The truth absolutely the truth French and British always wanted to do the dirtiest job using someones hands.Diplomacy failed them and they paid right price for their diplomatic plots. They knew that USSR was great danger (In 1930's USSR had the best army before Stalin's purges) and the wanted third Reich to grow to fight Soviets instead of them. They didnt expect that Monster(Hitler ) that they fed in 1930'sl eats them first....

  • @raystopher If Britain had been attacked by Germany first Poland help You for sure. Check Polish legion contribution to Hungarian uprising in 1848. Poles fought for hungarian freedom to the end. One of the unofficial mottos of Poland is "For our freedom and yours".

  • @raystopher You know why Hitler invaded Poland as the first? Cuze He was sure that attacks Britain or France, Poland FOR SURE attacked Germans from the back !!! You know why? because we keep our promises to the alliance! Not what France and Britain, which has own honor in the ass! It is through British, the war lasted until 6 years and could have ended the one year! Sometimes I do't know whether would be better for Poland to ally with Hitler. Then Brit and soviets could only shit in the pants!

  • @MrRotterr How could Britain have shortened the war? I did,nt realise Poland had the choice of being allies with nazi,s. Germans called all east europeans untermensch! A Pole in Britain was caccused of being a nazi, we learned that germans did not acept Poles, so he could not have been, so could you have joined them? Why would Britain have been more concerned if you had? When hitler did attack France,Poland did,nt attack from the back! Why?

  • @MrRotterr accused, accept (spelling mistakes)

  • @starekino2 I was going to ask what Poles did for the Jews. But i,m watching an old film of Ples beating them up, and telling Germans who were Jews, so that the Jews wont get bread.Polish "Friends " of the Jews ! Why?

  • @raystopher

Wow and who made this movie? Germans? heh.

Of course in every nation you find "blcak sheeps" but in Poland this was marginal proceder. In France Vichy Government without problem sending its own citizens (Jews) to German Concentration Camps.

Back to Poland f.example check name Irena Sendler.

Also check how many Poles exist on Jewish lists with title:

"Righteous among the nations of the world".

Also check how many Polish Families were murdered by germans for theirs help for Jews.

  • @bpiotrAgain It was an archive film made at the time, it could have been made by germans or Poles

  • @raystopher and what Jews are doing for Palestinians?

  • Poles were the best in B.o.B & Britians need to remember that!!!

  • @Karol2135 Actually the best pilot was Czechoslovakian !

  • @raystopher

This czechoslovakian Pilot J.Frantisek served in Polish 303 Squadron.

  • @raystopher The best pilot was Czechoslovakian who said "I`m a Pole".

  • Wspaniały filmik. 5/5

    Możesz zdradzić nazwę utworu ??

    Pozdrawiam

  • Cześć i chwała IM wszystkim! dzięki za film!

  • to the russians we hate you and thats all you will ever get from us, hatred, to the germans, remember our cavalry? hurling on your tanks? we wasn't we are not and never will be scared of no one, thank you dear allies for everything for shitting yourself and watching how hitler and stalin demolished warsaw, over 250.000 casualties, oh we do owe you big time, great civilized superiors of europe, don't worry Poland will never salute you again.......

  • we never have had a decent equipped army, but we always knew what to do when our home land is invaded, fight to the end like in Westerplatte, remember that spirit will always be part of our nature, and we will bring a great vengeance to everyone who will try to take our freedom dignity, underestimate us and feel the pain, JAK DUMNIE BYĆ POLAKIEM!!!!!!!!!

  • 34 brave pilots destroyed 126 german aircrafts, risking their lives every minute to unleash the rage and vengeance on nazis, and after that they weren't allowed to join victory parade, and they've been told to fuck off back home or elsewhere, coz Britain didn't want them anymore, not enough those cowards so called allies sold us to russians, you are a great nations you really are you lot, bunch of cowards disgrace to humanity, and you call yourselves the glorious winners? disgrace.....

  • You will always be in our hearts our heroes, we will never forget, God bless you all.

    Pamiętamy i nigdy nie zapomnimy!!!!!!!!!!

  • i always wanted to thank the brave Brits and yanks for all they've done for us, for the treatment Poles received during and after the war, thank you very much for fuck all, we always fought everywhere not for you lot for us, with courage, will, and heart, and you've repaid us in such brilliant way, thank you yet again. You lot are our heroes and saviours, what a disgrace, cowards, traitors, maybe one day we will repay you for your hospitality, 50 yrs of communism great reward....

  • @polishheritage The americans sold poland not the british winston wanted to keep pushing on!!! and it was all the allies that won the war that includes the battle of britain

  • WE owe a lot to the courage of the Polish pilots ,the outcome of world war2 might have been so different only for them. Its so sad they were not treated as they should have been at the end of the war. Shame on us.

  • Good new 303 TV programme: 'The Untold Story of the Battle of Britain'. Channel 4. Someone should rip it. Yalta was a disgrace, all Brits are ashamed how Poland was screwed. Not sure what could have been done at the time though, Stalin was strong, we were weakened. Any Poles who want to work in UK should be welcomed, and would be if there werent so many other immigrants, from lesser countries. Respect to Poland, we still owe you.

  • @Dubwise78 Thank you

  • The most weird thing in all this mess called WWII - Polish government on exile had to pay for armament given to the Polish Armed Forces in the West by Great Britain & USA with his own money - that was only "reward" wjich Poles get for fighting side by side, sharing blood with wester allies and taking part in several of the largest WWII battles. So dont blame me for having no respect to anglo-saxon nations - you've deserved for that.

  • So now its about time for UK to give the files on KATYN massacre, they have it, they know what happen. Give the closure to the family`s !

  • Jestem dumny, że jestem Polakiem ! Cześć ich pamięci !

  • My grandfather is this on the photos.

  • Nie chcę się czepiać, ale niektóre zdjęcia są z 302 dywizjonu, film na 5 gwiazdek w każdym razie zasługuje.

  • Wow from what i see not every englishman hates us, and some even know a bit of history

  • Polish contributions in WWII like in the Battle of Britain with Squadron 303, and other activities like decoding most of the Nazi German Enigma Code (and then giving it to Britain), have been underrated. God Bless the Poles.

  • @mkrsk Thank You Sir!

  • england declared war on german at 11 am on september 3 1939. after germany refused to withdrawel troops from poland. and germany was at that point the strongest country in europe the biggest air force the biggest army. the battle of britain was fought with spitfires and hurricanes flown by our allies as well as english men the polish who i have the greatest respect for fought tooth and nail against the german air force. THANK YOU POLAND AND ALL OUR ALLIES GOD BLESS YOU ALL

  • i am in 308sqn atc colchester

i must say our sqn em brasses our history and we live up to that name.

  • Im in 7F (1st City of Liverpool) ;]

  • Btw, your planes fighting in IIWW - do you even know that polish engineers were working at them? And then, after war, some of them disappeared after they declared that they want to return home in Poland?

  • After war GB betrayed Poland second time, selling us to Stalin - ofc selling us as a recompense for Polish help in battle of britain, monte cassino, tobruk and other campaigns. Sold us - for 40 years we've been under soviet occupation. Its the mains reason why some Poles have to work in your country, GB slouch.

  • @jezior90 I think you will find that by the end of the war the USA made all of the decisions regarding western policy. I agree that it was a shame that after fighting so well for the west that the Poles and Czechs, who GB really let down, had to see their country occupied by another foreign force. But by this time the world was weary of war. The Finns were able to repel the might of the Soviet Union initially and maintain their indpendence. A good movie to watch is - The Winter War {Talvisota}

  • @jezior90 Betrayed Poland a second time..?? Didn't Britain declare war on Germany because the Germans refused to leave Poland..?? I don't call that a betrayal. It isn't a small thing to commit your country and it's people to a major war when your own borders are not threatened at the time.

  • @Butchuk2007 this is a pure inslut to us, to declare the war and actually do something about it is a two completely different things, however it was ignorance to turn the blind eye on what was being prepared in germany for whole europe there were clear indicators of what hitler was capable to do, and rest of europe ignored it well before the start of the war.
