I agree that the performance here is a little below par, but what some people here fail to understand is that bands often play TV shows like this in the middle of tours. Sing as hard as Richard Patrick does night after night for a few months on end and you're bound to show some wear on your vocal chords.
I love Filter, and I adore the new album, but when you put in a half assed vocal performance like that on a national TV show...you have wonder why they have sold less than 20,000 copies of The Trouble With Angels. Bad BAD performance from R.P right there!

I would never have associated Filter with Nuclear Blast records. I thought that label was reserved for thrash bands.
