I was seeing the earth from a distance and a root started coming out the bottom of it. I was the root and i kept growing splitting in 2 then in 2 again ect, while simultaneously i was a pine tree growing out of the top of the earth splitting in 2 then 2 ect. Then i looked at the earth(me) and i was a 400year old tree. Time stood still, & words could never come close to describe.
i was at a festival and was on what could be called a heroic dose, i thought it went on for 3 days when it was only one. I also thought i had died that day and passed on and all the music around me was what heaven was hah

as weird as this sounds, but sometimes when i smoke bud this happens. only when im in certain settings though. It doesnt have to do with the quality. and it doesnt have to do with how i smoke it. It usually happens when i get a little panicked. Then i have a complete time distortion sensation and my heart starts pounding. It will happen to me a couple of times a year even though ima daily smoker. Any suggestions on why this might happen to me?
I know what you mean. There are times when I smoke and I guess my brain can't catch up with the words I hear? Because language makes no sense. It just sounds like a bunch of gibberish. Kind of like hearing something backwards. Anyone ever experience this?
@dFalcStudios actually I'll elaborate. The first couple of times I tried weed this happened, but in the worst way. It was like a bad weed trip, if that's possible. It was all blended with tobacco, and I never smoked that either. If you never tried tobacco, it makes you feel really nausious and anxious. That was then ballooned by the weed, I interpreted the experience as all due to the weed, and I went and spazed out for 30 mins, it felt like a month, stuck in a time-loop.
@dFalcStudios this happend to me to sometimes!! its awsome, but its kinda making you feel like unormal. and like your not in your own body. its still feels like time is reseting and i get a whole different reality perspective

Hey neurosoup, no offense but you really shouldn't promote acid. There's no such thing as an universal consciousness,and if there is, taking artificial substances, or anything else that will mess you up, will only get you in the opposite direction. Taking acid is really only about YOUR mind and another way to screw it up. Get well.
I was able to see through the walls, and accurately describe vehicles passing by, and would see deep space when i looked down at the floor...that was 1991 on 3 hits of 4-way acid...i believe my experiences were profound and significant of alternate reality or dimensions.

In my trip i found that i will never die, my body will but my spirit has existed so it will again. For example, if you roll a die trillions and trillions of times, it will follow the sequence from the beginning sooner or later. So say the universe is one complex die that deceases and restarts continuously... then sooner or later it will follow in sequence and we will live out lives again. I also found that no matter how good or bad something is it cannot exist without the existence of the other.

But the second i laid my eyes on it, i just felt at peace....It was fucking crazy. And i tell this story because i could never get my hands on lsd or anything crazy here in this town...
Anyways, the third time i felt it about to happen, i said, "oh shit it's going to happen again." I sat through it like a champ, but when it snapped again, i jumped up off my bed and freaked out for a second, then started pacing back and fourth........ My friend said, "just sit and chill, you're freakin out." I then just stood there and stared at a guitar scale poster on my wall..........It leveled me out. Not even kidding.
Part 2... I had never experienced that from weed before. Then it did it again not 2 minutes later.. Only i felt it about to happen. I felt my mind drifting away. And once again, it snapped back. Only a lot worse this time cause i felt it coming and knew what was about to happen. It kept doing that for about 5 minutes or so. And keep in mind i kept it to myself. My 1 friend who was there was clueless and more experienced than I was.

Loops can happen if u leave your music player in loop... same song over and over again. Broke 2 of my friends and we had to give them xannax to knock out. After that I learned the changing in the enviroment might be nessessary at times.

I experienced something like that during my second mushroom trip. I was in a completely dark room and the feeling of separation from body and mind was so intense that time did not exist and I was just existing forever with no control and no prior knowledge of myself as a human. very trippy, but very insightful.
I remember my first shroom trip. had a more experineced sober friend with me and he at the point where it was realy kicking in he started saying, " do you feel that everything is repeating it self, self, self, self se---" and during the time he was saying self over and over again i was 100% percent sure it was repeating itself, creepy as fuck but in the same time one of the coolest things I have experienced.

When I was younger I was in a car accident. I remember the squeal of our car as my mom slamming on her breaks, and the sudden and violent crash as our cars collided.
As soon as our cars crashed time rewound and I experienced the last moments before the crash again. This happened 3 or 4 times. I had actually felt and experienced the crash 3 or 4 times.
It's not a drug experience but I think it qualifies as a time distortion.
The one time I really remember getting stuck in circular thoughts was a very high dose mushroom trip when I grew mushrooms as a kid. I tripped out hardcore and it was awful, I didn't really know how to take psychedelics back then and taking a shitload was guaranteeing a bad trip
i've had it on LSD a couple times, salvia the very first time, and sober it's just synchronicity and can be much more brief. coincidences, deja vu, dreams, these can all lead to a sense of time overlapping with itself. gives you a glimpse into the minds of the mentally disturbed, they're just on a totally different wavelength than the rest of us. each and every time you feel it happen again and again and it's always the same way, and it's always more intense, you feel like you're going insane.
the last time i did salvia divinorum my pipe and lighter started talking to me. they got into a fight and i couldn't remember how to say the words i wanted to say to make them stop, all i could do was laugh because i knew somewhere in the back of my mind how stoned i was. i tried to tune out the pipe but then it started yelling that i was going to get beheaded and i freaked out and booked it back inside my house!..one hell of a trip

It usually happens when i get a little panicked. Then i have a complete time distortion sensation and my heart starts pounding. It will happen to me a couple of times a year even though ima daily smoker. Any suggestions on why this might happen to me?

@dFalcStudios actually I'll elaborate. The first couple of times I tried weed this happened, but in the worst way. It was like a bad weed trip, if that's possible. It was all blended with tobacco, and I never smoked that either. If you never tried tobacco, it makes you feel really nausious and anxious. That was then ballooned by the weed, I interpreted the experience as all due to the weed, and I went and spazed out for 30 mins, it felt like a month, stuck in a time-loop.

I was able to see through the walls, and accurately describe vehicles passing by, and would see deep space when i looked down at the floor...that was 1991 on 3 hits of 4-way acid...i believe my experiences were profound and significant of alternate reality or dimensions.

The sad thing is, I don't think she knows what she's talking about when she says "universal mind". So many acid users throw around these meaningless titles that just reveal the ignorance of the user. Part 2... I had never experienced that from weed before. Then it did it again not 2 minutes later.. Only i felt it about to happen. I felt my mind drifting away. And once again, it snapped back. Only a lot worse this time cause i felt it coming and knew what was about to happen. It kept doing that for about 5 minutes or so. And keep in mind i kept it to myself. My 1 friend who was there was clueless and more experienced than I was.

I recently tried acid about 3 wks ago & I definitely exprienced this time loop. I remember going back & forth between what I was thinking & trying to understand what my friends were talking about. I didn't understand a word they were saying even if I tried. At one point I commented on someone's statement, and I actually thought they were saying the opposite of what they were actually saying. Does that make sense? Very weird. I just didn't believe what they were saying, so I shut myself up. :p

I remember feeling a time loop while tripping, but it didn't bring anxiety, it actually relieved the anxiety I was already feeling. I'm a sucker for nostalgia, and something that happened two minutes ago felt like it happened ages ago, and when it happened again it was like a rush of memories.

I have had the time loop experience myself, however it wasn't LSD that triggered it...it was a 30mgtTrip of 2C-E whilst on shrooms, It defiantly was one of the most terryifiny experiences at the time only because mentally it wasn't going to well, I started getting schizophrenia symptoms as well, after the trip was over.. I changed my opinion and said it was amazing, since then I have done 2C-E approximately 7 times at a 30mg dosage. Ever only had the time loop once more, mentally been fine tho.

I've seen a video where a stroke survivor told her tale of trying to tell the emergency services what was happening to her. She had the words in her head but as she attempted to articulate them they came out as gibberish. She also could not understand them.
So when you say you could not understand your friends as they talked, were you able to form and words in your own mind? Like if you saw a tree could think "that's a tree" in English?

When I was younger I was in a car accident. I remember the squeal of our car as my mom slamming on her breaks, and the sudden and violent crash as our cars collided.
As soon as our cars crashed time rewound and I experienced the last moments before the crash again. This happened 3 or 4 times. I had actually felt and experienced the crash 3 or 4 times.
It's not a drug experience but I think it qualifies as a time distortion.

the last time i did salvia divinorum my pipe and lighter started talking to me. they got into a fight and i couldn't remember how to say the words i wanted to say to make them stop, all i could do was laugh because i knew somewhere in the back of my mind how stoned i was. i tried to tune out the pipe but then it started yelling that i was going to get beheaded and i freaked out and booked it back inside my house!..one hell of a trip
