  • Nice video ..LOL ..I'm Salvadoran and my girlfriend made the best. Pupusas ever I live in Monterey bay if ever want it try one

  • You did awesome specially when it comes to a good grade

  • i tried these at our farmers market. they were wonderful. introduced them to a friend and my sister. they both liked them.

  • I cant believe some people find this offensive. Im honored they learned (or tried lol) to mkae pupusas. Myabe didnt come out like Salvadorians make it, but guess what, they still did good. Keep it up guys, I wish I could cook haa

  • How long afterwards did u guys start blowin each other

  • I love pupusas.

  • '

oh wow i love to eat this so good delicous pupusas,,,

    only cheese with chicken

  • hahahaha i did laugh with you guys.

    i must say it's a good effort :)

ps. it is not offensive at all and I'm from El Salvador, btw, your way of saying ''pupusa'' is too cute :)

  • you two are the whitest guys ever....no but seriously nice try...made me laugh thanks

  • lol! shame on u guys reading from what you wrote! :P hahaha its cute! We did that for my italian class.

  • Hey guys... At least you tried to make pupusas, but if you really want to know how to make pupusas, why don't you come here to El Salvador?? (I am salvadorean, by the way) There's a place called Olocuilta, and there is the largest "pupusódromos" of my country! =)! Anyway, it wasn't a bad attempt, so congrats!

  • making pupusas is not hard at all, es muy facil

  • hahahhaha at least you guys try...

  • I mean compared to those other idiots from Epicurious and the Culinary Institute of America, you guys were brilliant. I haven't yet seen a BEEF pupusa around but it was good. Next time use grounded pork meat instead of beef :) I'd give you guys an A for effort though :)

  • My son just got this project and I've been doing some research to be able to help and guide him. I'm Cuban but lived in Miami practically all my life and I have had all kinds of different culture foods. I must say I LOVE Pupusas and eat it as often as I can. I think u guys did an excellent job and I enjoyed watching and learning from it. Thanks for posting and congrats on the A+ effort put into making the video. I will be making (I mean helping...LOL) them tonite.

  • if you guys really want to make pupusas you should come down to La Frontera Salvadoreña in Jerome Idaho i have my little pupusa truck wagon that I can teach u in but great job in at least trying

  • chefs of the fucking year over here hahaha

  • lmao! that's so not how you make pupusas. Good video, bad information...haha Hope you got a good grade! =)

  • thats not a pupusa, it's more like a sope with masa surrounding it

  • They look like pasteles, but its amazing the effort put in to it. Did you eat them?

  • @pericuaca yes they were great

  • LOL

  • Damn, there are some people that live to fight down there, dudes i lived in el salvador for 20 years of my life and i never learned how to make a pupusa only to fucking eat it,so i cant be offended at all. great attempt. Best dish ever,my opinion!

  • I am salvadorean and pupusas are so damn good!!!

  • good job guys, hey where are you from?

  • wow...looks more like ya were tryna make salvadorian pastelitoz...not pupusas...lmao

  • nice good job

  • jajajajaja u are very good guys

  • pupusas are the BOMB!!

  • esas pupusas si quedaron sabrosas jejeje nice video men

  • hope you got an A+ on your school project.

  • im from el salvador but it's so funny but the pupusas the dont mke like that but good job

  • When refering to someone from El Salvador you do not write El Salvadorean. This is grammatically incorrect. It is to be written as "Salvadoran".

This video clip is halarious...Great job for attempting theis dish. The traditional filling when I do this takes about 3 days. Its pronouced MA-SAY-Ka

  • good job

  • I think this is great! Enjoyed!

  • @Sweetashanni my buddy who thinks he was funny wrote that when i left my account online on his computer. thanks for the dialect tips.

  • Good job you guys... it is nice to see young people making the pupusas their own way... I am from El Salvador and I know how to make tortillas with a tortilla press... Howevever, I can not make pupusas.. Keep going you guys!

  • i am also salvadorean, and i know how to make pupusas.. i know how hard it can be to make pupusas. GREAT JOB! =)

and thanks for learning about our culture

  • well, i think is was very helpful, some people is just full of hate. I do have the recipe from an well known cookbook, I just wanted a little of visual help,Thank you guy!!!! great job!!!

  • ROFLMAO!!! Jajajajajaja!!!! Ok, I'll give it to ya'll. You tried, and you did, um, ok! I'm just glad that I didnt have to eat them. Cause them was some ugly pupusas. But considering that ya'll are dudes, and probably never ate a pupusa, I must say, you did ok. Practice makes perfect. Keep trying!!

  • is a good job,

  • Aww...I'm from El Salvador, and I think your pupusa looked...nice lol.

I think you did a good effort muchacho, thanks for presenting the main cuisine of my country with respect and a dash of humor :)

  • to all those personally offended by my video. SORRY. this was a school project. chill out.

  • @joemamma362436 Im not offended by your video....but michandre is a fag, he told me he sucked his dad dick........thats fucken disgusting.

  • @joemamma362436

    they are joking.....

  • lol!!! this was funny the filling has to be in a paste form as the other comments says..u dont use ground pork..my mom uses the pork's shoulder, boils it then with its own fat frys it..then ground it..mixing in onion, garlic tomato, bell peper..ands salt...then mixes in refried beans..and u dont fold them u make a whole in the "masa" then close it and u pat them making them a round shape...making the filling un-noticed... but great job! u can actually fill them up with anything...

  • lol...u guys are funny!

    nice try making pupusas!

    :)

  • Nice try, but it looks horrible sorry ='(

    keep practicing

  • jejej vivan las pupusas!!

  • looks like a baja-pupusa lol but still good

  • Sorry! pero asi no se hacen las pupusas

  • hey at least they tried they look better than the ones i make ooooo....

    El esfuerzo se hico biiieennn

  • oh tho i 4got to say ur vids very amusing though i would recommend people not to follow of the way of how u do it and could you remove "toloache2009" comment me and i speak for many salvadorans find it very offensive of what they said towards salvadorans and our culture..

  • hey fucken Gringo!!!! If u eat that type of shitty pupusa you will die of food poisoning!!! Wills mom cooks better than that shit and wills mom cooks some shitty ass food!!!!!

  • you're welcome :)

  • @joemamma362436 how can you not "espeke espanol" isn't this for your Spanish Class? everything he said is pretty basic spanish except for maybe the "verga" part lol.... anyway the H is silent and your Ds are too hard, and drop the "y"s from your accent i.e. Mah-seh-ka, not may-seh-ka...... anyway accents are not bad, did the pupusas come out good?

u make it look so easy X3

  • I enjoyed the spanish effort also ...how cute...NICE try boys.

  • thou i give you crops for your effort as a salvadorian you guys need some serious help... pupusas dont look like that and the mix of maseca you use is messed let rest after you put the water in.. let the dough rest so it can be more soft... and after you have filled then up... round then up again and then flat them down... over all nice try!!

  • i give props for this guys likin the spanish culture and makin pupusas

  • I enjoyed the bad spanish.

  • ^^ NICE TRY GUYS!

FIRST TIME THAT I SEE MALES DOING PUPUSAS! Oo

    BUT LOVED UR VIDEO

  • I really enyoyed looking u doing this, but beef? is not a typical ingredient.. and, that kind of cheese isn't the correct. Whatever, good try. Congratulations.

  • your dough went dryer than last thanksgivings turkey.

lol boys you had to add 1 tablespoon of water at a time to the dough to keep it a little softer but still firm. GOod try. thats why the ends broke so easily.

  • You probably have never had the real pupusas, from chicharron (pork meat), cheese and many other things but certainly no beef. Look at the videos of the real pupusa makers from El Salvador. You will enjoy eating those more. Who ever though of beef?

  • ground beef? lol hahaha good try ... i really really love this video ...ty guys

  • It's a good try...the beauty of cooking is that you can always give it your own twist. Your guys' pupusas were more like burger pupusas, lol, rather than the traditional which is pork, bean, cheese, or mixed. Your dough looks like it coulda had more water. Nevertheless, you guys rock! Every great cook gives recipes a spin. ;)

  • LMFAO! wow, that is NOT how you make pupusas at all! come on really, ground beef? that must have tatsed like shit.

  • como me alegra tener la dichaa de comerlas aqui xD

  • ok, this is way to make pupusas man, so, don`t forget the CURTIDO and SALSA ; )... long life and porsperity to those all have been taste the great oily and chesse flavor from the POPUSA (the original pupusa)

  • yall didnt really get down with the PUPUSAS......i would no my mom and dad are salvadorean and they taught me how to make these delicious things

  • Ma-sa-ca is the name brand of Masa Arina. Your mixture was too dry. That is why it cracked and was too too thick. The dough is not rolled like a pie crust.

  • ...at the beginning they said "somos pupusa" hahaha ;D

  • they can't count he said 5 pieces from the "log" he made 6 wat an idiot!!!

  • u dont know how to make a pupusa majeeeeees...

  • you know, when you prepare the masa, it should not crack at the edges

  • lmao @dem trying to speak the lingo

  • MA - SE - CA !!!

  • ahh man.

    making me hungry..

a pupusa with a glass of Kolashampan

    sounds great rite about now.

  • hahahaha this is so funny,i was a bit afraid he was going to make a pizza instead of pupusas, he was playing to much with the masa hahaha

    2nd guy: "yeah 5's enough"

LOL because there was 6 not 5 pieces, haha

  • LOL, Good job man. I love how you guys even used the MaSeCa for the Masa. But to really enjoy the Pupusa, you guys needed to make the Curtido and the hot sauce. Those 3 together, WOW! Glad to see you guys liked them \\m//

  • Hahaha well that's better than my own making of pupusas and I am a salvadoran, in fact a girl who never learnt how to cook typical salvadoran food!!! shame on me :)
