I met woman who might just be that girl when she grew up. She was really tall, had a drop dead figure and could silence a room when she walked into it. Unfortunately her husband is one of the most jealous men I have ever met. Don't let him catch you talking to her or even looking at her. However, she certainly was memorably gorgeous.
Looking back, I get a laugh out of the 'game cards do not actually talk' line. It's like the foldable stroller's warning - remove child before folding.
Although on a similar note, when I was about 3-4, I was afraid to eat Gushers because I was worried my head would turn into a giant fruit.
Apparently, a LOT of little kids didn't have a half, then - the game caused a MAJOR outcry when thousands of kids brought the game home & were VERY disappointed when the game cards didn't talk - the makers were accused of false advertising & what not - nowadays, most commercials take such precautions to avoid lawsuits (remember "Happy Fun Ball" from Saturday Night Live?)
@Maskedmutant - Yeah, they even mentioned it on HBO's 1989 special Buy Me That (about false advertising in child-geared TV ads)...can't believe how many kids expected the cards to talk, but I was 10 at the time and probably knew a little better than the younger kids it was geared towards.
