@Keyikey Does not mean certain character would not exist. If you heard closely, Quan Chi and Shang Tsung do make a reference towards the Deadly Alliance. Therefore, they were planning on betraying Shao Kahn some time in the future. But since he and Shang tsung are dead, Quan Chi will be assisting Shinnok just like in MK4.So this whole thing does not change anything. It is just all in favor of the other side and never for Raiden and the defenders of earthrealm. So MK4-Armageddon will still be.

The characters are not going to arrive as was in the MK4 protion of time for the next game because they are APPEARING at different times than originally already.
Kenshi, Rain, Skarlett, AND Quan chi appeared over the course of MK9's plot yet DID NOT appear in the course of MK1,2, and 3. Time IS NOT FOLLOWING THE SAME PATTERN. Saying Shinnok is alive doesnt mean MK4 is next, it means he's alive. Just as he was in about 20 other mk games.
"alternate" is the operative word. The course of events has changed DRASTICALLY from the original first 3 MK's so my point is that the events of all MK's beyond that are literally impossible to repeat now.

Yes, he is a cool character. That's why I love Kenshi- because out of all the players of that game, only he has the quickness and sting when it comes to his Katana, his San Shou punches and Tai Chi combos.

This is one of the best ending songs. My first win with DA was with Kenchi so I got to see him doing Tai Chi against the backdrop his blindfold blowing in the breeze. The whole thing was so beautiful. Me and my little brother just sat transfixed to the screen with the music playing on the surrond sound in the living room. Now that WB owns MK, the music doen't have the same power to give me shivers when I hear it.

MK4=Shinnok and his destruction. That is pretty much it. Only this time, there are very few mortals (Cage and Sonya) followed by the few new warriors in MK4 (Kai and Fujin). So once again, it's all in favor of their side and going against Raiden.

The characters are not going to arrive as was in the MK4 protion of time for the next game because they are APPEARING at different times than originally already.
Kenshi, Rain, Skarlett, AND Quan chi appeared over the course of MK9's plot yet DID NOT appear in the course of MK1,2, and 3. Time IS NOT FOLLOWING THE SAME PATTERN. Saying Shinnok is alive doesnt mean MK4 is next, it means he's alive. Just as he was in about 20 other mk games.

This is one of the best ending songs. My first win with DA was with Kenchi so I got to see him doing Tai Chi against the backdrop his blindfold blowing in the breeze. The whole thing was so beautiful. Me and my little brother just sat transfixed to the screen with the music playing on the surrond sound in the living room. Now that WB owns MK, the music doen't have the same power to give me shivers when I hear it.
