Well, the track looks wet so the grip off the line might have been part of it. I'm not really farmiliar with Lancias, I know some are/were all wheel drive but I'm not sure if that one is or not.
maybe the pantera got of to a bad start? even if it didnt look like it. I thought the Pantera would win hands down. But it got some trouble in 1st and 2nd gear.
That was much closer than I thought it would be, I expected the Pantera to leave the Lancia for dust! I wonder if the LeMans version of the Monte Carlo (or Scorpio) would have won...

that must be a tweaked montecarlo. 2000 cc with120 bhp can do very little against a ford V8
