Piece a shit. Those 6.0L and 6.4L diesels suck ass.  They shoulda kept the 7.3 around much longer. the new 6.7 has some insane power and torque but we'll have to wait n see what kind of longevity and reliability they have. This truck does have the looks though no question about that.

nice truck. people should invest in an actually useful grill guard, the one on there are just for show and will get messed up in a slight parking lot alter.

oh and also, banks six gun is a tuner or programmer(forgot which one) that increases the horse power and torque. the switch inside the truck is so you can select the power mode from less horse power all the way to the most horse power that the power pack provides. thats why the heavy truck takes off. as well as provides better mpg.

does anyone that has an f250 diesel know the aproximate fuel economy? I'd like to upgrade to a diesel, but am concerned about the fuel economy. And whats the difference in fuel economy between 250's and 350's? (diesel of course)

@719FoxRider719 I have a 2006 F-250 Amarillo with 6 inch lift and 35s, I'm getting right around 17 highway and 14-15 in the city. I would assume with stock wheels on it you could get 20 MPGs or better. Not quite sure about 350s though.

ok first off an amirillo edition ford truck is not an 05, it's an 06. skyjacker is not a high dollar lift, skyjacker, rancho, rough country, tough country are all about the same. shortbeds are just as practical as a long bed. it's not the length of the bed, it's how you load the trailer.

Should I have said, this truck just has a regular common lift kit?  If you knew anything about sales you would know that enthusiasm sells and to some Skyjacker is the lift to get!! Your opinion matters only for a truck that you are purchasing not what someone else has interest in! 3rd- short beds as practical as long beds? Not all people use trailers!

@brokenwrist21 - Not meaning to be disrespectful but there WERE 1500 "Amarillo" Package Superduties made in '05. They were distributed in several westen States only. They were ALL 4X4, SRW, SC or CC and 6.0 Powerstroke equipped on an XLT base. Also they did NOT have the amarillo badging visible anywhere on the vehicle for that year. Please at least google proper info, as most of what I've said (+more) is easily available here at Fordf150.net which is the first hit for 2005 super duty amarillo.

Of course there are more expensive lifts but Skyjacker makes one of the best lifts and I am sure you will say I do not know anything about trucks for saying that. Just tell me how many you have bought and sold?? I thought the number would be much lower than mine. I have successfully sold lifted trucks for years so I must know a little something about them!!
