I don't think Charmander is by any means the hardest. It's probably the easiest. Sure, the first two gyms are strong against it, but you're not only going to have Charmander on your team, and gym battles are such a small percentage of the game. Fire type starters are always the easiest and most useful throughout in my opinion.

No, in pokemon black and white ur pokemon still take damage if ur walking and they r poison they will get down to 1hp and will recover but if u r in a battle they will die from poison if u dont use a antidote and btw u shouldnt overtrain ur charmander the key to sucess in a nuzlocke gameplay is a balanced team so they r ALL storong and have a less chance of fainting......
