Little up date.. 16 year old girl driving dads F-350 rear ended me in my prelude at a dead stop doing about 50mph. They totaled my car out. I'm not gonna even worry about rebuilding it. I'm fixin to buy a 97 Toyota Supra Turbo in it's place and am not sure if I should keep it stock or mod it. I know I'm taking the twins out and putting T-66 turbo in... Should I do anything else?
I "own" a prelude 98 VTEC and it's pretty quick and fun to drive. It takes turns like a pro, but I'm buying a 2000 Celica GT-S soon so we will see which one is better! Lol

@422195 you wont like it. the prelude wins all day, they only thing i give props to the celica for is the exterior design. they look clean as fuck. but an h22 prelude will win all day.

Yea the gts has 180hp stock, but is weights 600lbs less than the lude. Given the same driver the gts is just a bit faster. But there is another question, cuz the lude has more torque, from a stop and not a roll they`ll probably bet each other by half car or so.
@omgfroobynoobs ludes win all day, i have a 1994 prelude with a jdm h22a bone stock internals, paired with an accord type r tranny, i put 195 horsepower to the wheels. i beat supercharged scion tc's and the celica gts with headers intake and exhaust all day. they are definately lighter but dont make the same power to the wheels. the 2.2 of the prelude transfers power to the ground better. and vtec gives you better top end power.
@omgfroobynoobs weight doesnt mean anything if you are doing a roll, maybe a dig you could get a jump if you are gutted but what if the prelude was gutted? stock for stock? there is no way, and as far as potential the prelude takes it too

GT is the base model. It has the 140 hp VVT-i engine. (Garbage) The GT-S is the faster version with the 180 hp VVTL-i engine.
