  • @rickeshpatel236 Gotcha. Thanks for the suggestion!

  • @samsaurus1 They do!

  • @marquesbrownlee Nice, so about HDMI, is it possible to use a DVI to HDMI adapter so you could plug in a PS3 for example?

  • @ManchesterRed Sounds good mate =]

  • why dont get u2410

  • @oOcrazy95Oo I didn't like the base as much, the 2407 fits in with my setup more nicely. Plus it's much less expensive =]

  • Nice monitor, cool. I wouldn't mind one of these myself.

  • @davomrmac I'm enjoying them. I bought them inspired by the 1920x1200 panel you showed us not too long ago. Love the Ultrasharps!

  • @marquesbrownlee Ah yes, the NEC Multisync.

  • @davomrmac Yep. Every since that video I was set on getting a pair of 1200p monitors. I'll never look back to 1440x900 =]

  • @marquesbrownlee Do you run a Mac or PC? or both? I am getting really down on Mac quality control at the moment.

  • @davomrmac Quad core Mac Pro sold recently, and my Desktop build is also up for grabs on eBay. I'm down to a 17" desktop replacement laptop PC and an MSI Wind, also a PC.

I'm in the process of getting parts together for a really nice desktop PC build that is about halfway done. That's what these monitors are for! =]

  • @marquesbrownlee Excellent, what spec PC (CPU and GPU) are you going for? I am liking the performance of the one I did in my PC Build videos. Any recommendations for backup solutions on the PC?

  • @davomrmac CPU is an Intel Core i7 930 and GPU is a pair of GeForce GTX 260's. Performance is a main goal for video editing for MKBHD. As a hardware backup solution Western Digital is my favorite external HDD manufacturer. Though I haven't been in contact with them at all I'd recommend picking up a 2TB from them as a RAID mirror to your regular desktop hard drive.

Software solution for backup? I'm blank. There's no real Time machine equivalent as far as I know.

  • @marquesbrownlee Thanks, I have Acronis ready to install, just need a drive. I have internal RAID at the moment. It flies for Adobe Premiere. Just going to buy a USB external for backup probably. Good luck with your build.

  • @davomrmac Sounds great - I'm looking forward to Camtasia Studio 7 performance with the Intel SSD's I have paired up. Thanks!

  • @marquesbrownlee I cannot believe you mentioned Camtasia Studio. I was reviewing that and gave up, kept getting black screen on my recordings. I read about the solution, but it was greyed out in my graphics card options (something about acceleration) so I could not change it. Message me if you are a Camtasia expert with any tips. :)

  • 24"? That's small for 1920x1200 my 1680x1050 monitor is 24" :/

  • Do a set up tour!

  • @ImKingc0n I'll work on one later =]

  • i ask for one :)

  • @ijoly You can get them in very few places =]

  • Where did you get these from? I can't find them on Dell's website.

  • @TheAustinRichey One from NCIX and one from CedarPC.

  • @marquesbrownlee Thanks. Sweet Setup.

  • yeah do a setup tour

  • @mikeytw91 Will do... Just later. Maybe when the build is done mate =]

  • great review! that monitor is hugeee! haha

  • @TheCokeDrinker Review coming soon, this is just the unboxings. And yes, they're massive =]

  • Even though I don't really like Dell products, you have to admit, those monitors are beastly.

  • @KidBajan Well said. That's the only adjective I could possibly use to describe these panels =]

  • hey i see that you buy neew monitors a lot and could by one of your old ones off you?

  • @LoadingJesusMode They're on eBay if you search for them. =]

  • @marquesbrownlee your are?

  • @LoadingJesusMode Absolutely!

  • How much does this cost?

  • @thenerdal You can pick on up between 400 and 600 depending on where you shop.

  • @marquesbrownlee This may sound stupid but if i had 2 2407WFPb's i'd take the bezel off and make it look like a HUGE 48'' widescreen pc monitor if it's possible.

  • @macandpctips111 That's definitely an interesting concept, but might not work flawlessly. I think I'm going to keep them either side by side on the desk or invest in a dual monitor swivel stand.

  • setup tour please!

    thanks Bud!

  • @saskay302 Sounds like a plan!

  • cool

  • @urban1skater I was gonna mention this monitor runs cool and quiet but you got to it first. Haha

  • @marquesbrownlee haha thank you

  • @urban1skater No problem =]

  • This monitor is a BEAST.

  • @thedigitalflow I couldn't agree more =]

  • I plan on getting one of the ST2410's with a 15'' MacBook Pro Core i5

  • @macandpctips111 You're going to love it!

  • id like to see a setup tour

  • @Flashfarm Cool - Thanks for the feedback =]

  • Do you still have the Mac Pro like you said in your other videos

  • @macandpctips111 That's what eBay is for, my friend =]

  • Can you u use this for games consoles ?

  • @manaf17 Yep, this is amazing for XBox, PS3, etc.

  • @marquesbrownlee What, so are there the sockets in the TV to plug in your xbox ?

  • @manaf17 Precisely.

  • @marquesbrownlee Oh, awesome. I thought that you need to buy adaptors (to plug in the red, yellow, white things) ? Btw thanks for replying, im sure everyone appreciates you replying to our feedback and queries :)

  • @manaf17 Yep no adapters nexessary. And it's the least I can do =]

  • You should start up the screen casts again. They were really professional.

  • @hamillpj Yep, screencasts haven't stopped. Many more on the way.

  • I have had a dell 24" since 2005 and its still working great, always on! Was $1200 then.

  • @VivaLaBamEpisodes I'd still pay 1200 for these monitors. They're extremely impressive!

  • @VivaLaBamEpisodes Mine is not as impressive as these new ones. I have 2407fpw I believe... but at the time, all 23" and 24" monitors were over $3,000. Apple's 23" was $4,000!

  • damn, thats one big and awesome unboxing

  • @elfsboorg Agreed. Totally worth it!

  • Awesome unboxing like always!

  • @EvolutionTutorials Thanks!

  • Very nice setup those are some huge monitors. I really just have a 1280x800 laptop monitor and thats it but you have what you have and you push it to full potential :]

  • @KDY911 I'll be using it to it's full potential, definitely!

  • Wow those look nice!!!

A Setup tour would be awesome :)

  • @SoftwareTutorial They're extremely sharp, professional. Nice =] Setup tour probably on the way soon.

  • yes definately I would love to see a setup. Some of us can only dream at having equipment like this. But I will settle with a set up tour and salivating on my part.

  • @SalafiHawk Haha alright sounds reasonable =]

  • Make a setup tour!!

  • @iFaTaLHD I'll get to it eventually. lol

  • setup tourrrrr

  • @luxio43 Gah! Okay setup tour =P

  • SETUP TOUR, DAMMIT!!! I get giddy watching PC builds.

  • @Betermin I hear ya lol setup tour is likely on the way.

  • Not bad, but I dont like those styles.

  • @DudeFromUkraine Super professional styling =]

  • that's gonna be such an intense setup :) and you're building a computer too! nice

  • @iTalkApple I certainly hope so! Yep computer build is coming along nicely.

  • @marquesbrownlee You're going to have an excellent editing setup with a 24inch dell ultrasharp monitor i can guarantee you that :)

  • @arbit3r942 No doubt about that!

  • setup tour :D

  • @techzany At your wish =]

  • hell yea set up tour

  • @mota411 Hell yeah =]

  • ohh crap, how does one of those cost?

  • @wheely132 One can be between 400 and 600 depending on where you go.

  • @marquesbrownlee wo thats a little expensive.

  • @wheely132 In my opinion it's worth the price, absolutely!

  • sweet knife!!

and yes, i like it better when you talk for reviews/unboxings. Keep up the good work!

  • @scottyboyy99 Yep it's a DealExtreme knife. Thanks for the feedback!

  • i got the assus vh236h built in speaker moniter

  • @Dttbs Very nice, though the built in speaker could be better =]

  • @Wiberg13 Cool - Thanks for the request - It's getting pretty popular. Haha

  • Damn those are nice!

  • @Zen12332 Agreed =]

  • can you do a setup tour when your all done

  • @TechGirlProductions I'll most likely do a setup tour when I'm done with all the parts of the rig.

  • I want to see a setup tour.

    - TechManiaKid

  • @TechManiaKid Interestingly popular request now lol. Thanks for the comment =]

  • @marquesbrownlee Haha, LOL. No problem.

  • I'd like to see a set up tour video :)

  • @iHack42 Thanks for the request =]

  • Setup tour please. Will you be doing a video of you building your custom build ? Im about ready for a new rebuild.

  • @marquesbrownlee no that wont help i have a laptop with vga which i want to connect using DVI which is on my tv to my tv and a ps3 which i wanna coneect to dvi so i would use hdmi do u get it?

  • @laugh578 Yep for that exact purpose you'd need a HDMI to DVI cable.

  • @marquesbrownlee but one more question can u like make a video about whats better 720P or 1080i

  • @passo32 Thank you!
