Doubt you'll get this but I go to a state park near me in the summer months. The stair way to heaven and the slide to hell doesn't compare to this place. Sometimes there are forty foot drops and thirty foot cliffs the direction you normally take is either up or down. It's a good work out and thank god the bathroom is near. After you get done climbing your digestive system wants to empty itself.

the Griffith Observatory is one of my FAVorite things about L.A. If you go on a clear day (or night) the view is spectacular...oh man or a full moon mann oh man.... but foreign ourist seem to like to take pictures of american girls in shorts..(just smile or walk away) but i hear theres some nice walking trails and the shows in the observatory are pretty dam awesome as well.
