  • me gusta esta tia su voz es lo mejor

  • Please give me a japanese metal band with girl on vocal that growls like Angela Gossow from Arch Enemy and my life will be complete.

  • @HojoAmasuke sure thing, check out Dazzle vision's like i'm not real, Vision, Shiki betsu, or any of there old stuff like off the CD Origion of Dazzle... heavy hardcore screaming. Maiko is the best in my oppionion. but i've herd alot of japanese girls screaming.

  • @HojoAmasuke Shadow.

  • Nemuri is such a powerful song.

To anyone who likes or loves Onmyouza or this video, I've just opened a new forum dedicated to them, so come over and have a look, or register and participate if you like: onmyozatheatre (dot) com.

  • hace 2 dias que los conoci y esta cancion esta trasendiendo

  • This Japan Girl is very beautiful i want be with a japan girl

  • @Ragetzu me too :( ...

  • @Ragetzu *Japanese girl.

  • 25 people are still listening to Rock with English lyrics.

  • o yeah esta genial

  • OMG, if they can re-release their albums in English, they can be very famous worldwide...

  • @istidepor OMG if other english speaking bands could re-release their albums in Japanese, they could be extremely popular in Japan.

oh just shut up and learn the language, dont be dependant on one language.

  • @greenday2themax pfff, i didnt intend to be offensive towards Japanese, mate, what I am trying to say is, that would have benn more famous if they'd have sing their songs in English, just because English is a more commonly used language, that is all...-.-

  • @istidepor Music trancends spoken language.

  • FUCKING YES! I knew samurai metal existed somewhere, somehow! Japan have some absolutely amazing bands. Boris, Animetal and (as ive just discovered) Onmyouza. Im moving eastwards!

  • love them all

  • @bestiaonthedrum

I own a few of Onmyouza's albums, and I must say I've never seen a band use more archaic denotations and poetic lyricism than Onmyouza, to no fault in any way. Since their style of dress carries into the style of their music, they often use words or readings for kanji that hasn't been seen in some 200 years. They also use NO romaji or and katakana in any of their songs.

  • Ich liebe diese Stimme, einfach göttlich und ich liebe Diru beide ach was viele j Bands are owsome to the max

  • kuroneko is give me goosebumps

  • Fantastik... yeeeeaaaaaaaahhhhh

  • fucking gay Dir En Grey 4 life!

  • i wish i understood Japanese, this way it would make more sense to listen to their music!

  • @zzz181085 it won't be easy even if you do learn simple japanese, because they use a mixture of old japanese, to make it sound more dark and scary if you know what I mean.

  • @BDtetra I see what you saying, but how do you know that fact?

  • @zzz181085 because I'm japanese :-)

  • @BDtetra I'm trying to learn japanese on my own... obviously it all started out by the discovering of j rock (precisely, visual kei, which is absolutely mind blowing to me...). It's really difficult, but also very fascinating, especially when it comes to bands related to the japanese culture... anyway, i must say that, to this concerne, i prefer Kiryu and D so much better. Kiryu look like a hyper japanese band... they use very little romaji in their cds, and they choose the most difficult kanji!

  • My friend told me about this band!

    It´s so fucking good!

  • This band just kicks ass ^o^ That's just epic music^^

  • Nippon Maiden!

  • she is so beaytyfull.

  • @ahmakki uhmmm actually she looks like a tamale mexican woman XD

she is not preaty... but she sings great

  • This band is fucking wicked.

  • (Visual Kei)

  • boring

  • @F355 your mom was boring F355 <3

  • awesome ;D They are so perfect^^

  • OMG i love that solo!

  • perfect

  • Why do they sing in an old Japanese dialect? Its quite cool... I found this bad by wikipedia...

  • @pivotair to match the band's concept..

  • @pivotair This might explain things. Look at the band's name and then look up "onmyouji", and follow to Onmyodo on wikipedia, I can't paste the link。

A "za" was like an ancient union or council, so "Onmyo Council" It translates poorly.

  • Opening Like Iron Maiden Fear Of the Dark

  • @vdzgh not at all.. Just the first two notes

  • My fav Onmyouza track "Nemuri" - Kuroneko is SCARY-GOOD vocally!

  • WHY IS THIS HEAVY METAL !!! this should definetly be symphonic metal. that singers voice is a little wasted in this kind of band. she's so good =( but well i suppose symphonic metal is a rare genre.

  • @rabcor that's so off, they sound more like iron maiden and don't have any symphonic elements in this band

  • @rabcor no hun, you want symphonic metal? try looking for versailles.

    THAT is symphonic metal

  • at 1:08 there is a crack in the song, is this part of the song or an edit by kouta?

  • @casdegroot It's video skippage, probably caused by the method used for compression or getting the video in the first place.

  • @just4n07h3rd00d is a big part of the song missed?

  • Everybody.. i'm sorry Onmyouza is a Japanese heavy metal (J-metal) band not Japanese rock (J-rock) band

  • DUDE! THIS CRAP SOUND LIKE HAMMERFALL Natural high! WTF! fucking assholes!

  • that song isnt even that bad -.-

  • the riffs are great, the misuc is awesome, and kuroneko's voice?????? dear god i dare you to find a voice that beautiful in any genre of music. go on i dare you. don't worry i'll wait

  • @asaieternity Amy Lee from Evanescence :D

  • def j-rock at its best!

  • def, j-rock at its best

  • This reminds me a lot Iron Maiden.

  • this is angura kei, like kagrra.

  • kakalibug naman to!! hehehehe galing naman bakit kasi progressive ng mga hapon unlike dito pogi rock! sa america ewan ko ba ang generic!

  • its fucking iron maiden japanese style with a woman singer! fucking rocks

  • @Hypknautiqah Absolutely correct. FANFUCKINGTASTIC!!!!

  • angura kei i think... :P

  • @kirahdimmu Yes, it's angura kei...

  • I love how it changes the time signature, and the major "Flash of the blade" (Iron Maiden) style riff, it's like a Japanese Progressive Maiden *creams*...

  • say what you will, but the voice on this woman is unbelievable. her voice alone makes me love their work

  • Kate Bush + Iron Maiden + Japanese Folklore = Onmyouza

  • Comment removed

  • omfg.... the japanese iron maiden. i bow to yuo....

  • god metal japanese i like Onmyouza

  • it's heavy japanese folk metal

  • Yeah Jrock with truly silky smooth hair!!!! why I love their hair so much...as well their music as well huhu....

  • Best japanese heavy metal band i heard THEY RULE

  • How is there a genre for japanese rock? is it not rock? no matter who sings it the music is still just rock.

  • I lol'd

  • Excellent! It's nice to hear a band inspired by Iron Maiden without ripping them off like too many bands do these days. Gorgeous singer with a fine set of pipes, too. Good show!

  • fuuuuck

her voice , it's like fukn ecstasy flowing right into my ears.

of all the voices in the world, this. this is the one.

  • AMAZING LOVE THIS SONG

  • Son buenos estos cuaros XD, me encantan.

  • wow...i mean WOW! O_O i am in shock..i got goosebums and everything. No words can describe her voice and style =O awsome drums and guitars to!

  • jjjajajaja que crema de enjuague usaran??????

  • debe ser que tienen los cabellos virgenes y se lo re cuidan *¨* o brayin y planchita XP

  • Muy buen tema :D

Matatabi es lo más de lo más

  • AWESOME. "Nemuri" is probably my favorite Onmyo-za track. LOVE this band! \m/ Kuroneko is so on-point vocally that it's scary.

  • :DDDDDDDDD kuroneko ♥

  • * Onmyouza! *

  • ella es lo maximo, tambien la guitarrista

    canta como un kitsune

  • no es "la" guitarrista es el

  • see ella tiene wena voz me gusta...!!!

  • Amazing sound, amazing band.. Loving j-metal a bit more each time i find bands like this one :D

    Salu2.

  • wow first time I hear this band and it so rocks!! thnx for sharing! :D 5 stars!

  • is like fear of the dark

  • I really don´t understand why you have got thumbs down for that comment gabi326jjk.. Onmyouza are very inspired by Iron Maiden (and why is that a bad thing anyway Iron Maiden is a great band), they have even made a cover of Maidens The Trooper..

  • yeah I know right =P, its like, why is it a bad thing to be like an awesome metal band? haha, they have their own style, but the guitar work sounds alot like iron maiden, same whit the drums, just really diferent bass and vocals lol, not much galeping in the bass in this band

  • That´s true there is not that much "galop metal" about Onmyouza like with Iron Maiden, but that´s because they are only inspired by Iron Maiden, I don´t think they are trying to copy Maiden. They have their own style which I think is awesome:D.

Actually I noticed this band first because of their "Iron Maiden sound". I thought it was cool that someone still played like that, there are not many metal bands that do that anymore. Besides it´s always cool to hear a female singer in metal;)

  • Listen to Karasu Tengu or Wanyudo and you'll find galloping riffs. They might have others too

  • Okay.. I did´nt those groups..

Perhaps I should try seek them out:)

  • Because they are not japanese iron maiden or anything. Inspired - yes, but not copying.

  • Uuuuhhh.... What is your point exactly??

No, of course Iron Maiden is not Japanese and I never said that Onmyoza ever "copied" Iron Maiden. They are just inspired by them.. Which, I stated in an earlier comment, I personally don´t think is a bad thing since I very much like IM:)

  • soz i wanted to send this to gabi326jjk but youtube for some reason sent for you.

  • Oh... Okay.. Sorry for my ranting then:)

  • This is not J-rock, it's J-metal. Onmyouza is a Japanese heavy metal band.

But otherwise, they ROCK, and so does the song!!!! ONMYOUZA FTW <3

  • @jontiswe I would still consider it Jrock. Its just as heavy as X so it depends how you would classify them.

  • @jontiswe Don't forget Japanese folk metal as well which is the inspiration for their songs

  • @jontiswe Sorry, but thats not J-metal.J metal = Something arround 'sCrEw' search for that band. Onmyouza is J-rock. Unless in an interview they say it's metal.

  • @Pinzist Matatabi said himself that they are a heavy metal band, 'yokai' heavy metal. Their greatest influences are Iron Maiden and Judas Priest - what more do you want?

  • @jontiswe It's a Visual kei metal band

  • damn cool!

  • great japanes band !!!

  • tocan demasiado cool.... son lo maximo esta banda japonesa en especial la vocalista... salu2 desde venezuela... san felix..

  • tom arigato....

    tocan buena musica los japonecitos....

  • I love this song!

  • Actually, Visual Kei doesn't refer to a music genre, as much as a movement among musicians; it's characterized by an unusual appearance, elaborate costumes, striking make-up and so on. in other words, visual kei only reflects in the looks, not the music.

Plus, the term used to define Onmyouza isn't Jrock, guys. People with more than one brain cell actually recognize this as heavy metal. And anyway, Jrock is used only to describe various rock sub-genres affected by the japanese traditional music

  • ROFLCOPTER

  • I LOVE that she wears a kimono in their PV's

  • fuck i love that chick !

  • onmyouza is not jrock.

just thought I'd clear that up.

  • i hate the term jrock too, but it seem like its used for all japanese bands.

  • J-Metal ftw!

  • i remember when i listened this song for the first time... i became addicted

  • I just loooove Onmyou-za^^

I really don't understand why nobody knows them, they're so fucking great^^

    Ich liebe euch!^^

  • she is gorgeous and you need to die....

    simply put... :D

  • asian women by far are the prettiest female's ever...well here's how it goes there are two types of asian women they are either hot or they are either really ugly there is no in between but 86% of them tend to b on the hot side, they just have natural beauty unlike other races...and if you take this as a racist comment guess what? i dont care, i think asians are better than all races so i guess i'm a racist.

  • if you go to my videos you will clearly see i am not asian xD

  • i would have to agree with you on that

  • No, you're the Great White Wapanese, filling his yawning cultural void like a shitload of this vid's other commenters.

  • if you ask me, all the races have both things, ugly peolple and pretty peolple, i think kuroneko it's beautiful, and also many other asian women, but also i've seen many other asian women who are...well... not so good looking, as blooddrunkk said, everybody have their own opininion, for example i like the eyes of many islamic people, and btw, i'm méxican

  • epic

  • Japanese music ROX, and, yes,

    japanese women too \ , , /,

Oh, yes, don't forget Little By Little in the

    exceptions list D:

  • When Japanese women rock out, they really rock out (yes, I'm forgetting Kana, I know ;D). I remember when I always listened to Shiina Ringo, Judy and Mary, Bonnie Pink, and Cocco... but they're all doing different things now, so I'm glad Onmyouza is still doing their thing.

  • kuroneko rocks!!! onmyouza onws!!

  • Who would've thought rockin' out in kimonos would be so badass?

  • Well everyone knows it is now.

    That is all that matters...

    Kimonos + Rock + J + Kuroneko = Badass.

  • Visual Kei= Badass

  • plus power/folk/enka metal=even more badass

  • have anyone english translation ?

  • lol if she want she can sing Iron Maiden... no on will notice cuz is all in japanese, hahaha is a good band, is not my kind of Rock, but is good to find this rock in japan too (?)

  • Onmyouza have already covered The Trooper. And for a female vocalist, It was fucking Beautiful.

  • LocustShift. you'll love Sinergy's cover of number of the beast ;)

  • Any Japanese band that covered a pioneer heavy metal band is a damn shame if they don't take their music to the US and Europe...

Hell, if Equilibrium can get known growling in an ancient dialect in Europe, I don't see why a kickass band that sings in Japanese couldn't also.

  • For some reason, this song's very much similar (NOT exactly alike) to Iron Maiden's "Fear of The Dark" considering Iron Maiden as one of Onmyouza's influences.

  • My new favourite band.

  • i love onmyouza....ishiteru .!! son lo mejor.!!!

  • kuroneko scares me xD

  • where can i donwload omnyouza songs?

  • bit torrent

  • japanvisualkei(dot)blogspot(dot)com/2007/05/onmyouza-discografia.html

  • lol the one who answers lousily Bitorrent gets plenty of +, and the poor one who gives a CONCRETE link from where to download gets bashed. Who understands this society?!

  • search the music of onmyouza in a program named ares

  • this is one of the more great rock band in japan,

  • It's really hard to find music by Onmyouza, but I really really enjoy the few songs I have by them.

  • does anyone know where did the search for "Onmyouza GT7" go? I really need the name of that song if anyone knows it

  • Great music these guys play :D

  • AWESOME!!!! Great PV, I love Kuroneko's voice. That's Angura Kei in its pure essence. Japanese Culture ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!! X3

  • onmyouza rockssssssssssssssssssss

  • Awesome, absolutely. Reminds me of something you'd hear on Guitar Hero 3: Legends of Rock. The japanese version of course =P

  • wow this is great. My first time listening. Onmyouza is bomb! I just need to find out how to pronounce the name. ^_^"

  • She is soooo hot!
