No, Michael, he's one of the good guys - God's mighty warrior. Michael is the restrainer who holds back the secret power of lawlessness (Satan) see 2 Thessalonians 2. When Michael arises as we see here in Daniel 12, he will throw Satan and his angels out of heaven to earth as we see in Revelation 12. Then all hell breaks loose on earth which Christ called the Great Tribulation.
