i heard from the macanics that fix dustcarts for biffa said the hopper is onley about 4 milermetres thick i think that is way too thin what about you

Well it depends on the material used aswell. High strength steel like you would naturally find on a dustcart isn't gonna be needed to be as thick as say, alluminium or something.
