Before you bring this to my attention DrTzeus...ahem I've seen it.
This guy is pretty much in Emin's category, he's just as conditioned as him, a Bass Rutten kind of guy.
From what I see in this MONTAGE he uses good old muay thai and ground and pound. He doesn't even use the vertical punch. Where is the WT here? Alls I see is a heavily conditioned athlete who does muay thai stand up and good old grappling and ground£. NO WT.
WT is a form of training only. ion a fight a WT practitioner should nor be confined to "look as one". WT is a chameleon-like style, it can look like anything, its WT training that makes it special (chisao sense and reflex excercises).
only a beginner will take the shape of a WT stance in a fight. with training, WT will take the shape of the fighters stance. you obviously are judging from looks and dont have the experience to give a reasonable call.
I'm not buying that explanation. Muay Thai looks like Muay Thai in a fght. Wing Chun ends up looking like...bad Muay Thai. The truth is that you absolutely cannot apply that BS so when you get in a fight you end up resorting to what's natural, the way you should have trained in the first place.
Well, you do not need to buy that explanation. But I have practiced Muay Thai, Judo and other styles. After seing SiFu Emin in action I decided to study WingTzun under his EBMAS and Escrima under Rene Latosa...Both systems teach no so called techniques, but concepts in a fight. And if you train hard, both martial arts might even look like Muay Thai...it all depends on individual...
From my experience this comment is true in alot of respects. I trained in Wing Chun (not Tsun) after Judo and Muay Thai and I found what I took mostly from Wing Chun and applied in real life situations was WT's excellent philosophies on your centre of gravity, not trying to predict your apponnent and balance, weight, movement etc of your legs. If you saw me in a fight you probably coulnt tell Ive studied WT (even though for only a few years) because you use what comes naturally/personal thing :)
Its so easy He practiced mix martial arts, and Yasin is Sifu of EBMAS, He use the essence of WT, if you never has practiced WT you cant understand this so easy, We dont use only chain punches all the time, we use hands elbows knees legs and antigrappling, there isnt best martial art or worst if not the best fighter, if you practice whatever and you train all time and you discipline you have it all....
