This not only is Epic, but also an official remix! Normally, official remixes (the ones made by Masuda) have the pokemon cries in the middle. If you search for the similar remix of the R/B/Y gym leader theme, you can also hear random pokemon cries.

However, since the Gameboy Advanced, it is possible to play actual music while progressing through the game. This therefore means that they can finally put music that confuses the senses of the player. What better genre to pump cold sweat through our bodies while strategizing than rock/metal music?

In the Pokemon Special manga, Wallace actually beat Steven but stepped down due to wanting to succeed his master Juan as the Sootopolis gym leader. XD

It was attributed to the fact that Steven's pokemon were weak to water, though.

He is still at that one place with solrock and lunatone in the wild. what's that place again? He has pokemon at 70+ in emerald. Wallace isn't stronger, Steven went off exploring, and Wallace replaced him.

Well you can still fight him again though. In Emerald he leaved though which f**king sucked. Steven was the best champion! Steven>>>>Wallace

The arrows also say that as the games moved on the champion turned from Wallace to Steven (total facial with the double meaning). Anyway I really didn't think I'd say this much! Very sorry!

It was stated somewhere that Wallace WOULD have been Champion, but he stepped down, so he could be in Sootopolis and protect it. He's apparently stronger than Steven...TOTAL BS!!!

But, the battle with Steven with his Pokémon 20+ higher was quite a fun battle! XD
