iam heading off to college in a couple months..my parents are really considering buying the 07 Rabbit for me.I would perfer the 07 GTii but its a bit pricey for my bugget.

150hp? does not seem like much.

The main thing i love about the GTi is the power it packs.built for fast driver's=P!

the engine has nothing to do w/ the capability of a cars speed and torque. its all about the tuning.

cool. rabbit's are lame, all though some people add turbos to them and they can be super quick, but i don't think they have nearly the overall performance.

Ive been in both and drive them everyday...

The 2.5 is definetly uicker off the line but the 2.0t once it hits boost, its gone..but thanks for the thumbsdown...

Most people who turbo there MKV rabbit.. Want the sleeper look.. and they do have more potentional than the GTI, There devoloping mods.. Stage trhee turbo kit from C2 motorsporst puts the rabbit @ 300+ hp and 350+ torque.. There not lame by any standards.

@lameotet123 ... Rabbit does not have more potential than GTI. 2.5 N/A engine can only handle that much!

2.0L Turbo however can go a long way. Also the Stage 3 for the Rabbit costs like 7000$ with labor...
