Dear COAL MINERS: No one has a problem with coal mining it is the Mountaintop Removal they have an issue with. It is killing all of the biodiversity in the appalachian mountains which is supposedly your home so you SHOULD care about that and it is effecting the rest of the United States with its bad contaminated water which I don't appreciate at all. The only reason corporations started Mountaintop Removal was to benefit themselves NOT the local people.

You know, of course these miners could spend countless hours educating themselves and investigating every aspect of mining and MTR. However, where politicians and environmentalists have the time and means to do these things, these working men and women are too busy MAKING A LIVING. There are other industries that flourish in WV as a direct result of mining. Hospitals and healthcare, retail and service, countless construction and engineering jobs that, if mining was eradicated, would all be lost.

If you watch the video you can see as they go to leave someone says something again and the guy returns. While I do not support MTR it would better serve our cause if we would post the parts to make the video more believable instead of editing out to create faux innocence.
