Actually as it turns out some of the words actually are quite similar, like oak tree-tamm in Estonian and thamm in Japanese(could be wrong though, read it in a newspaper).
What makes it easier for us, Estonians to learn Japanese, is that we pronounce every letter only one way, not like many other languages like English for example.I mean, there is a difference in how English pronounces a letter g for example and how it sounds in a word, like grapefruit.
I wonder how well he actually speaks Japanese? For my foreign ear sounds well enough. btw, although it makes no sense, I've heard people saying it's easy to learn Japanese pronounciation for Finns and Estonians.
well i will start learning japanese in school this fall, and the teach only said that you will need a good memory to remember all the characters. The teach is from japan and he speaks estonian relly good
But our g and every other letter is pronounced only one way, like in japanese-also the pronounciations of the letters are exactly the same,it seems.
Other languages speaking people are not used to it,thats all.

He's speaking in Japanese.
interviewer:What happened at the beginning of the bout?
Baruto:I could't grasp Asasyoryu's mawashi, and...
interviewer:I think you should not avoid Asasyoryu's attack because you're so big.
Baruto:Well, my waist has pain. I couldn't put strength to my waist...
interviewer:You're fighting with Ozeki or more stronger wrestlers for a few days. What do you think about them.
Baruto: They are very different from lower class wrestlers. It's very tough.
