  • PAUL'S COMMENT REMINDS ME OF WHAT THE 70S AUDIENCE WAS LIKE, EVEN FOR KISS, A KICK ASS IN YOUR FACE, SHOW LIKE KISS AND EVERYONE IS SITTING.

IT MADE ME THINK BACK TO ALL THE AUDIENCE RECORDED KISS SHOW'S I HAVE FROM 73-79, ALL YOU HERE IS "SIT DOWN" "SIT DOWN", ALL 3 NITES AT THE FORUM 1977 (ALIVE II) ALL YOU HEAR IS "SIT DOWN" ALL 3 SHOWS, BUT YET A FEW MONTHS LATER IALSO IN LOS ANGELES I SAW MANILOW, AND EVERYONE IS ON THEIR FEET START TO FINISH, KISS = SIT,, MANILOW = STAND, I NEVER GOT THAT

  • 34 years ago today, this amazing concert took place!!

  • damm they were on top of their game!!!

  • Solid performance of this song.

  • Entertaining! exactly what a concert is suppose to be. AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • who the fuck sits down at a concert? hell ya paul stick it to the man

  • That was PETER'S NIGHT!

  • @Mssmaimone birthday`s night

  • you know this was a loud ass show. kiss and them boys blew the shit up loud ass concerts, they didnt give a fuck

  • Love how Paul sticks it to the security guards! Stand up people!

  • It's a shame people actually go and see the travesty today that is the Gene and Paul bogus KISS show. Just shows you the difference between a TRUE KISS fan and those who just wanna see make up and fire. A TRUE KISS fan accepts no imitations!

  • @Chrisdrumz You tell 'em! With the exception of Lick It Up and Animalize (two of my personal non-make-up efforts), KISS IS, AND WILL ALWAYS WILL BE, GENE, PAUL, PETER, and ACE! Heck, in my opinion, VINNIE VINCENT (remember him?) is WAY BETTER than that Tommy guy!

  • @Chrisdrumz

So true, but KISS were always entertainers as well... not only well talented musicians.

  • @Chrisdrumz Vinnie is better than Tommy, no doubts, Vinnie was a monster playing the guitar, but I like that Tommy has the same style that Ace has, so it doesn't sound SO different.

  • @Mssmaimone same style but not same quality, by far.....

  • @Chrisdrumz Well, maybe to some its a travestie, ( the new line-up ) but to others, its also a way to keep makin a dream live, and a living. like all of you guys,i would rather see Ace and Peter back again. They could play less concerts and have more fun together with less stress. And still be rich !

  • FUCK YOU LARGO. BUNCH OF FAG PUSSIES

  • Que grande Peter!!!!!

  • I came out of this concert a different kid than I was when I walked in

  • was introduced to kiss when destroyer came out. no other bands existed. no zeppelin, no aerosmith, only kiss.

  • KISS was the best back then. They are still great but KISS were IT back in those days, everyone loved them.

  • Nice to see Peter so happy in this clip, especially at the end. :-)

  • why didnt they use their KISS logo like this more often on their pre Dynasty tours? its cool

  • Ah...the good ol' days...I grew up in DC and remember the Capital Centre/US Airways Arena very well...so many memories.

  • Great!

  • this is kiss - not the half kiss there is today!

  • Peter was loving that. Good on him

  • This song was definitely born to be played alive! In my modest opinion, the studio version was too Ezrinproduced. But this version really ROARS. It sounds quite like an All-American version of Slade - as he wrote in his biography, Gene like them very much.

  • B E A U T I F U L

  • These Guys are probably ready for their next round of solo albums; which would be a brilliant idea for a comeback!

  • Peter ... in great spirits. Quite a Jester. GREAT PETE !

  • His birthday!

  • Now THAT'S power!

  • Wow I think KISS peaked right this very second. Gene is so sinister, Peter is so funny, Ace sounds excellent and Paul is ... Paul. Why wasn't this in KISSOLOGY? This is my personal favorite KISS era. Yes Virginia, KISS was once a real band. Great vid I thank you very very much.

  • It was as a bonus disc in Kissology I

  • Gotta love when Peter calls ''Shout it! shout it!!''

  • many kids in our Rockville neighborhood went to this concert, because a local father agreed to be the chaperone. I remember getting guitar lessons from a great local talent , Tony Rigopoulos , or aka Tony Romeo. He knew thousands of songs and taught me a lot about being a musician and drummer. He was a true inspiration to us all growing up in Montgomery County Maryland , and being fans of hard rock, or 70's heavy metal.

  • i was at this.. great show... sorry to see this place go

  • can you imagine these so called groups today calling themselves bands and putting on a concert after seeing KISS!! no way all the music today just hacks

  • @lespaulkiss I agree! THANK GOD (the original) KISS reunited in the '90s! In my opinion, Metallica WERE my favorite band from 1988-1994. Unfortunately, I became an EX-fan via the Unforgiven and Nothing Else Matters. In my opinion, the media and the fans can promote the new bands, as well as the other veteran bands, ALL THEY WANT, BUT, NO OTHER BAND EPITOMIZES WHAT SUCCESS IS IN "SHOW BUSINESS" LIKE THE ORIGINAL KISS!

  • this song should be a bigger clasic than it is. it should get more radio play than it does

  • peter at the end- hilarious ;-p

  • I was here... Dec. 22, 1977... a month after turning 9. I recall sitting on my father's shoulders. It was a great early X-mas gift from my parents. :)

  • This footage from the Capital Centre is awesome!

  • THE BEST = KISS

  • F-ing Hot, but where are the flame explosion pillars?
