  • The ego 11 barrel is like " what the f*@k is that"

  • mike make a video of you playing with the TPX please

  • i saw in another video that the sa 17 takes first strike

  • can you pleas do a Review at the Tippmann 98 costum

  • keep in mind i dont own either the TPX or the T8.1/9.1 from my point of view first strike is useless (there is now where that allows them and ive never seen a range that you cant shoot with a regular paintball (really thick brush mostly)), the cost of the T8.1/9.1 mags are a HUGE negative point, as is having the CO2 in the mag. personally i am willing to pay the extra $30-$50 to get the TPX instead of the T8.1/9.1 there is nothing better about the T9.1 over the TPX in my opinion

  • The goblin is great for a concealed weapon. Maybe an assassination attempt? *cough* Orange *cough*

  • So far, two separate companies have First Strike Round conversion kits for the Tpx. That makes the tpx a great choice. Also, The CO2 Change is so much easier in a tpx vs the tac 8. ( Own a tpx and love it!)

  • @Jollyrogerdriver

meh maybe in a few years when they change a few things with the tpx ill look into it but for now im sticking with the 8.1 you get what you pay for

  • last time I checked...TPX been $279 since release......?

  • @TicaLLioNStaLLyN in canada at least

  • @TicaLLioNStaLLyN Yea, im looking at getting one but theyre expencive up heer. I might pick one up when im in the states though, going there next month for a nhl game =P

  • @BirthOfMahem i can get anyone in Canada the tippmann tpx brand new for 225(taxes alreasy in) plus tax just pm me...thanks

  • @TicaLLioNStaLLyN i can get anyone in Canada the tippmann tpx brand new for 225(taxes alreasy in) plus tax just pm me...thanks

  • yah stock phenom, or sw-1 barrels work well on the tpx

  • Hey Mike (or anyone else), I'm thinking about getting a TiPX, but what kind of paint should I use for it? I've got a 98 custom and the Polar Ice paintballs have been working out great for me so far, but are they too brittle to be used by the TiPX?

  • the bt sa17 can also take first strike rounds

  • @USCGkidd only 1 at a time though

  • Last week, I went with a good friend of mi e to a paintball field in PA but close to the holiday season, I don't have a huge wad of cash, my Tippmann Alpha Black is currently getting fixed, so I went anyway and played with my pistol all day in the woods. I have to tell you I went 12 and 4 and as long as you're working with someone else who can lay down suppressing fire when you need it, playing with pistols in the woods is amazingly fun.

  • Why is everything so expensive here in Sweden -.-

The tippmann is 360 american dollars here. I thought I could buy it when im in america next time but then I remembered... airport security :(

  • @TheRickeMovies you could always order it from an american store

  • @TheRickeMovies you can put in your checked bag and nobody cares :)

  • With the first strike adapter from Gunhead.com, it places the TPX at the head of the pack. First strike capable, Lighter clips, smaller grip. The lame plastic body is the only downside.

  • Will the sa17 clip-thing fit on a bt omega or just the tm7 and 15?????

  • @ThePaintedUke6887 it will fit

  • @ThePaintedUke6887 yes its a rail clip

  • you said you live in florida I think, hope you dont mind asking but where is a good place to play in the woods cuz insane asilum was close down

  • ahahaha ego barell on that shitty gun that is so ghetto

  • what type of sight can you place on the sa17. after you put the feen neck the only real option is finding something that can be placed on the rear top rail. any thoughts?

  • what type of loader do you reccomend putting on the bt sa-17

  • @Predator2169 Im not mike but a gravity fed would probably work great. I sugest like a 50 rounder.

  • Thank you for the help full video a year later.

  • the tiberus costs 335$ and comes with a little bet maore

  • if i dont use the FS rounds wich gun is better the TPX or TIBERIUS.....PLEASE HELP

  • @TheTurkeyJizz

honestly, the TPX and Tiberius 8 are equally matched usually, though it appears that for many, the TPX wins by a hair. I suggest you simply google TPX or Tiberius, and check the A5og post!

  • @acouragefann Thx for the Help but i just got my marker yesterday :) i got the tiberius 8.1 because of the metal frame the tpx is plastic:(

  • the bt sa-17 has a holster now:)

  • Do 10 round tubes feed well into the SA-17? If so I could just use my PB mafia joyride pack instead of buying a magazine pouch.

  • @smoke14PB thats what there made for but you can get a feed neck to put a hopper on and put your stick feed and put it on a empire tracer

  • You can use the remote line adapter that Tiberius sells. My local shop has them for $9.95. I've also seen them on ebay for a similar price. Just thought i'd add this for those using the tiberius.

  • I had to turn down the music, even so my mom thought i was watching porn....

  • i'm sorry but that sa-17 with the longer barrel looked like it should be driving to the paintball field on a short bus

  • tippman stole tiberuis arms pistol my dad works for tiberuis

  • @SuperSickness8 how do you figure that? they both have different designs

  • Comment removed

  • you can mod TPX mags to use first-strike. ive seen it done

  • goblin suede.... jay

  • mike, im really torn between dual wield pistols, the t9.1 elite, or a .50 cal gun. if i were to go dual wield i would use tpx because they separate the air from the mag and they have the ability to run a remote line. i like the t9.1 because i can shoot hopper for big game situations and when i want to snipe i can switch to first strike. i like 50 cal because you can shoot twice as much for the money. im kinda leaning towards dual wield because i like to run and gun

  • no mine was 199 but with shipping and hst it was 227

  • i jst bought a 8.1 from paintball gear .ca 227 dollars best deal

  • @Angoos1 they're 200 bucks on ANS...

  • my phenom barrel fits in the tpx

  • I use my stock 8" A5 barrel on my TPX and it works fine. Also is that the lapco front block with the picatinny rail?

  • I use my stock 8" A5 barrel on my TPX and it works fine.

  • The sa-17 doesn't come with the hopper adapter, that comes with the rifle kit.

  • the only reason i don't like pistols is because their really bulky and hard to hide

  • So I guess it's really a matter of personal choice here. BT uses older but proven technology whereas Tippmann and Tiberius Arms go in for the Cool Factor with their mag systems.

I'm still undecided on which pistol to use. I tried the T8 and really like it. I did find that the grip was a bit too large for me but that much that it was unplayable. I haven't tried the other two, but I'm a Tippmann fanboy (own a pre-ACT 98 Custom and a 2011 A-5) so I know that Tippmann is good stuff.

    Any advice?

  • I mean *not* that much that it was unplayable.

  • does the sa17 when you take the stick fed off does it come with the adapter thing that the hopper goes in

  • "You'd probably use this for fishing, or poking unattentive front players\"

    Hahahaha classic

  • hes so violent on that 11

  • now adays when u get a plain paintball mag it like 9.99

  • Does anyone know about the remote line adapter?

  • ever go dual pistols any 1?if so post on my wall. tips or anythin u can tell me

    ;-)

  • @RumbleBee52 haha i do sometimes.. my only tips are not to waster ammo and keep at least one hollister so you can reloade without holding your other pistol

  • GOBLIN FTW!!!!

  • J&J will fit in the TPX

  • the tippman has barrel feed for first strike? i thought you would need to shove them in through the end of the barrel for first strike to work with tippman. tippman can come out with first strike mags feed?

  • i literally just went to ansgear.com, and guess wat? they didnt hav the goblin :P

  • is there any extended mags for the TPX?

  • @WayneDeback Nope, but it would be nice....that and a full auto or burst version (but you would be flying through the mags). I'm hoping they will come out with extended clips as well.

  • my a5 barrrell that came what my a5 fits in the tpx

  • Tippmann all the way baby

  • How do you know so much about paintball? Just experience? Or were you previously working with firearms or mechanics or something?

  • Are the first strike rounds still very accurate and long ranged even in a pistol?

  • @fisheye300 Jeez can't you listen to what they say? He mentioned that in his video. Pay attention to what you watch.

  • Good review. Too bad there's no weigh-in or accuracy test, i was looking forward to. Very informative tho

  • i bought a tiberius arms pistol a month after they cam out then i saw the rifle one can you get just the parts to put on the pistol?

  • @xXNationsNightmareXx No you cant. The T8/8.1 is strictly pistol form. I use a T9.1 as primary and a T8 as secondary. I will add that the T8 and T8.1 both can run remote. You can buy basically a metal tube that screwes in where the punch is and it connects to where the 12g would with a nipple out the bottom of the mag. I do this with my T8. TA is also comming out with an option to allow remote on the back of the T8.1.

  • Hey Mike, Me and the team im on have adopted the t8. some have both the t8 & the tpx and they agree that the t8 is better. We usually dont use the t8 as a side arm but as a primary. Man is it fun!

  • 7 people dont like pistols......... probablly cause they suck with them

  • your voice doesnt match your mouth...

  • tiberius mags do have air lining capabilities

  • for the Tiberius 8.1 i saw a few people that use an apex barrels that are about 7-9in but when i search to find somewhere to buy it i cant find. but i saw that you can buy just the tips so can you some way attach the apex tip to the regular barrel.... reply soon cause if so it will end up bein my primary.

  • @crazzyguy99 You can buy after market barrels for all Tiberius markers from Lapco and Flasc. I beileve they are the only ones that will allow you to run APEX tips on your T8s. Other companys also make longer barrels for the markers but I am not sure about the APEX tips.

  • what should i get tiberius or tpx!!!!!!!!

  • i dont care whats better but Tiberius just looks fucking badass

  • have u ever yoused a nelspot 007?

  • The Tippmann A5 barrel will work on the TPX, just gotta watch those porting holes. I honestly don't use mt TPX all the time I just keep it on me as a back-up because I use a Low preasure HPA tank. TPX is great as a back-up and fun to just run up in CTF or Bomb games.

  • im sorry mike but 'i can fit my a-5 barrel into a teammate's tpx but ur write, the phenom barrel looks b'etter in it

  • So ans gear has the goblin and funny how you just threw it like you don't even care well it is a 80 $ gun

  • As mike said the goblin is good for suicide so I'm getting one my team always loses in a hail storm of fire (woodsball)

  • All your TPX are belong to me.

  • i heard tiberious have magazine magnit realease problems is this true or did they fix that for the new 8.1

  • can the pistols that support the remote line ( which i believe is all 3 now) can they run off of hpa or is it strictly co2

  • @tripplexpaintball they can use hpa.

  • there actually is an attachment you can buy to run a tac-8 remote. i have one on mine. it essentially is a metal tube that takes the place of the c02 screw in the magazine and has the nipple sticking out the bottom of the magazine

  • MY stock a5 barrel and lapco apex ready fit into my tpx fine :S

  • i play primary pistol with a TPX on the remote line.. great set up! buy less paint, makes you want to move up closer to guarantee your hits. best investment i've made.. and Special Ops makes pimp holsters and mag holders for pistols.

  • Bt TM ripclip with the TM7 body adapter fits on the SA-17 perfect.

  • you can use ariakon holsters for the sa-17

  • mike i lapco apex ready barrels will fit on the tpx i have a 12 inch apex ready on my tpx

  • wtf the T8.1 CAN use bottom line on the mags! Remote adapter are on the mags...

  • I did have a LAPCO big shot with APEX and it went into the TPX I had no problem. It was 14" if that matters.

  • hahaha, like the last part. but what are first strike paint?

  • is it hard to changethe bottom line on the SA17?

  • "its not overwhelmingly large"

    thats what she said lol

  • hey mike can you give us a show on pump guns? i was looking for a pump gun to get for my birthday and anything you said is law, but i couldnt find any videos by you

  • Mike you forgot to give us the weigh in on the pistols. :D

  • would any of these have at least on a scale of 1-10 a 7 for rankings on abillities for speed ball?

  • @dontmesswithninjas

0 across the board for speedball / xball for all three, this is the LAST thing you want to use against 12.5 PSP Ramping when all 5 of your opponents are carrying 800+ rounds, and you've got a.... what?

  • @paintballtechpb I feel like this thought is a little closed minded mike. I know tons of players who will play with single shot mechs like this or even pumps against players using high ROF electros, including myself, among the forums. Remember it's not always about spraying paint but skill level as well ;)

  • @paintballtechpb

Actually, today I played with an SA-17 which I borrowed from my friend. Everyone on the other team had their fancy Dye's and Ego's, and yet I mowed 3 out of the 6 down with less than 40 shots (1x 12gram CO2). I did have a hopper on the SA-17, but the fact that the gun is so lightweight, rushing the other team was pretty easy with some cover fire. On a side note, I find changing the 12gram CO2 much better and faster than going and refilling your tank and whatnot.

  • @paintballtechpb

Also, the fact that you can only carry so much of the 12 gram CO2 tanks in your pockets, make you more aware of your ammo, and at least I noticed I wasn't spraying just to try to get one guy. Also, the SA 17 is really accurate, so you wouldn't even need to spray all that much.

  • hey mike have u herd anything about the goblin single shot pistol? it looks like somethin fun to hav

  • The SA-17 does have a vest holster from BT,

  • @cadydude There is no problem holstering an SA-17 I do it every other week. BT has two mollie holsters that it will fit in, you can hip or vest mount them.

  • @SirCaptaincrunchy Didn't say their was Mike I believe said that there wasn't a holster designed for it.

  • my vote is ......... pgp

  • would you do a review on the tippmann tpx machine pistol

  • TPX looks like something i would use in lazer tag

  • the goblin is pretty lame, but it can shoot first strike

  • The LAPCO bottomline adapter only works on first gen (non-First Strike) magazines. It replaces the bottom portion of the mag.

  • just some help to sa 17 users you can use a real steel pistol holster designed to fit a 1911 and if you take the mag off it will fit

  • @dmen108 BT makes two holsters that it will fit in no problem.

  • @SirCaptaincrunchy ya i know but im saying if you dont want molle

  • lmao, "this is a little weird looking, you would probably use this for fishing or poking front players" XD

  • @pixshowman hahahahahhaha xD

  • If I was going to "commit suicide" in a paintball game, I wouldn't use a Goblin. I'd use one of those paint knives that Damage Inc uses and commit seppuku.

  • Mike - you can pull the shroud from the TPX and then any A5 barrel will fit.

  • EGO 9 REVIEW

    PLZ!!!!!

  • thumbs up. if u love it when mike pulls out expensive guns from thin air.

  • watched the whole video... and i wasn't truly interested in pistols at all, but it's nice to gain some knowledge in case i need to recommend them to a friend...

    thanks mike

  • mike are you going to do a T9.1 review

  • great show mike!

  • Good review but no mention of the SA-17's ability to use First Strike rounds and the fact that it gets about double the amount of shots on one 12 gram.

  • @SirCaptaincrunchy

Well all three can technically "shoot" first strike rounds, if you hand feed them. The SA-17 doesn't have the ability to feed First Strikes yet, other than hand feeding them. And even with that, it's still EXTREMELY hit or miss because of how nose heavy the FS rounds are. If you drop a FS round into the SA-17, it always goes in wrong and you have to fumble with it to get it to shoot. Just because it's got the "FS notch" doesn't mean is can use them. Good point on the efecncy

  • @paintballtechpb Very true! and I can tell you from trying, if you have big meaty thumbs, it is not easy to get those FS rounds in there correctly!

  • i will take the goblin if you dont want it mike :)

  • If i saw someone with a goblin i would laugh my ass off but if someone got me out with it... mad props to them lol

  • he called the goblin cute hahaha

  • Great review again Mike, keep up the good work..

  • where does he say you can get the rail for the tpx?

  • @austin1156

    LAPCO!

  • The BT pistol had more to it than what I thought. Thats kind of cool

  • *Take out the goblin*

    LAST STAND!!!

  • it is a three piece berral

  • mike, quick question a while back like 2 years ago i bought a spyder marker idk what kind it was but the chip inside the grip or frame whatever its called fried up and it wont hold turn on!. its my only pb gun and im thinking about buying a new marker but what kind should i get? im also on a 400 doller budget so help please! thanks -junior

  • Sounds like you didn't load the GOBLIN correctly. You should get WOLF or MCarter to show you. Thats ok some people get it some don't. The upcoming DEUCE is really cool, wait till you see the reviews on it.

  • BT YOU RULE YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

  • whats better a smat parts ion xe or proto slg 09?

  • The Bt pistol looks sorta like an underdog

  • i took the a5 barrel that came with my a5 and put it on my tpx..... it fits fine.

  • hey mike i left some paintballs in my yard then for 2 days i found them and they were super sized why do the do that?

  • @admlandor they absorb moisture

  • @admlandor I'm not mike but i know the answer paintballs swell with moisture so when u leave them out side in the elements they absorb the moisture in the air and will become as you say super sized.

  • @admlandor

They absorbed moisture and expanded, probably just from the dew at night/in the morning. So yeah, obviously don't try to use them, even if they look just a little bigger.

  • sound lag?

  • we had a big senario tourny at our field one day and this guy put a havoc launcher on the bottom of his tpx and was using it to take out tanks and what not

    it was one epic set-up

  • SOUND IS OFF

  • man mike you just made me deciding what i wanted now even harder am stuck between the tpx and tiberius arms. How about this mike how which one is cheaper and easier to maintain?

  • Mike once again great job wow very detailed

  • Comment removed

  • mike you can get a spec ops extended tib8.1 mag(non fs mind)

  • Hey check out my video on how to make the Tiberius marker more air friendly. It puts it back up in line with the TPX for air efficiency. GREAT video on pistols. I have the Tiberious 9, but I would like to try the BT SA-17.

  • do you buy, lend, gift, all your paintball that you review?

  • BT is empire right?

  • @kingraider7 yea

  • Man, I havent played paintball in a while, i wanna go soon cus my football season just finished but my school work is gaining on me. nice video by the way. kepp up the good work

  • Can you make a vid of you playing Xball with your goblin

  • lol he just throws the goblet at the end

  • online ads make me want to smash something....
