javanese people are not malay eventhough they are related. malay is also an ethnicity. javanese is a separate ethnic group. and there is no such thing as "malay race". it should be "austronesian race".
yes,I'm aware abt e 'Austronesian race' term. But i choose to use 'Malay race' because it's a term that been used for quite a long time & its familiar to many especially in Philipines/Singapore where they/we rather call themselves/ourselves Malay race than Austronesian. This is the opposite in Indonesia. btw, i call myself Malay(race) although i'm aint from Malay ethnicity. Thanks for the comment!
