I went to Smalley's Dam today and caught two bass until it got cloudy and then the bit stopped. I then went to the Honey Hole and only had a nibble.

Is there a legal way to get on Smalley's Pond? Do you have to yak to the dam and then portage over the dam and launch?

How do you get to the dam? Do you drag the yak from the parking area on Smalley's Dam Rd or do you put in there and paddle upstream?

Lol, my favorite spots are also the favorite spots of a lot of people, but I have 2 ponds that nobody else fishes, which is awesome. Every spring me and my brother go there and clean up, it gets harder to catch the big guys during summer on down, but for the first couple trips we are guaranteed a 4 pounder, a couple 3's and a boat full of 2 # largemouths
