  • My mom was outta town and messaged me over facebook about 'The Secret' and how I've you believe in yourself and think positive you can achieve things...so I linked her to this video and said this is what you sound like. Hahaha

  • it may be convenient to blame physics, but you can only blame yourself for not believing you can do it

  • You are ONE DUMB MOTHER F ER ! Please........do not attempt to grow a brain.....thank you!

  • What if you try with a concrete wall.......would you make it??? if yes than up a level to iron wall....the I would belive it......and maybe i,ll try it myself....

  • do the same with a concrete brick

  • thanks for not giving up!

  • i love how he's like "don't blame your failure on external factors" then switches the wood for a thinner piece LOL

  • Yeah that kind of wood is actually several pieces glued together with the grain alternating directions specifically for the purpose of not breaking that way. Even people who break bricks with their hands don't try breaking that kind of wood. And now we all know why. Esp a big piece like that. A smaller one would have been easier.

  • lajkej če te je desna stran jajca prpelu sm! :D

  • 1:05 start of board destroying

  • All my not so long lasting (for now) life i wanted to drill a 30 inch hole in a wood.. Now i feel like doing it and not giving up. Yes.

  • Гениальный человек!

  • Дэбил мля ...

  • si, este hombre claramente tiene una mente superior!

  • your a fucking retard...

  • obviously, he did that cuz he might had a fight with his girlfriend ....... wait u guys think he doesn't have a girlfriend ?????

  • on tosh.o this lying sack of shit said it was 3/4 inch plywood. There is no way in hell it could be. just look at the board in the video and it is easy to see that pantyboy was using only 1/4 inch and he could'nt even break that. Do not give this fool credit when in no way does he deserve it

  • Get an education. Many people feel they can't do that.

  • lol search: shawn gets head trama. for similar video

  • Just goes to show that life's a bitch... only if you can't break a piece of plywood with your head... :p

  • good job sensi

  • ROW ROW FIGHT THE POWER

  • hahaha Anit-Motivational Tapes! :P

  • I love this.. I've watched this over 100 times and I still have to laugh!

  • this guy is a lunatic..jus like everyone else who commented below LOL!

  • 2:41 "Yeah..... *SMASH*......I did it"

  • Holy Shit!

  • I think I almost died instead from laughing so hard.

  • 1:50 to 1:54 Greatest 4 seconds ever.

  • wtf this man is retardet HAHAHAHA but its funny HAHA

  • Suicide is the only option now.

  • so, what have we learned here?

  • Oh jeez. Poor guy. Though...when you think about it, he did demonstrate his point pretty well. Even if you screw up and look like a dork, keep trying and you'll do it eventually.

  • someone should have told him all he needed was 2:45-2:50 haha

  • the plank had more faith that it would succeed

  • just a minor case of severe brain damage , he's fain!

  • i can break that with my hand :D

  • 2:04

Its a good thing it wasn't as you thought, because if it was EASY it would've been pointless. Through sheer determination and despite looking like a doofus, you managed to overcome a moderately difficult task while being hilariously entertaining at the same time. Thus, giving you a very effective speech.

    Good video.

  • just when you think he figured it out.... he tries a DIFFERENT PIECE OF WOOD

  • u could have cut out the first 74392 attemps haha

  • "...the failure to do anything is your own fault..." Yep. I'll take full blame for not intentionally slamming my head with plywood. That one's on me.

  • if i was to sacrifice 10 % of my brain cells for doing something difficult I would go very far. TIP: break it with the front part of your head

  • wooo

  • christ

  • press 5

  • Physics > Mister Rogers logic

  • Tosh.0

  • y'know...if you'd think it out...boards break easier when you put the grain, the way it'd snap, instead of fold over your head...it would have been much less painful, and prolly broken among the first three tries.

  • like for a try !

  • 1:59 - "What have we learned here?"

I just can't sufficiently answer this question...

  • Obviously he didn't believe in himself enough. There's no sense in blaming external factors like how THERE IS NO FUCKING WAY YOU'RE GOING TO BREAK THAT BOARD WITH YOUR HEAD.

  • Awesome work

  • Yes We Can!

(immediately followed by epic fail and denial)

  • *THUD* *THUD* *THUD* *THUD*

  • That is a beautiful TV cabinet behind you.

  • YES YES YES YOU DID IT !!!

  • Plywood doesn't break like an actual board.

  • What have we learned here? You're a jack ass, that's what.

  • Comment removed

  • "If it's not as easy as yu thought, try a different piece of wood" --> Key to success

  • (His skull must be) Cracked!

  • No pal. The lesson here is.... you're a dumbass!

  • Congrats! You have been nominated for the darwin awards.

  • I just watched a man, against all judgement, slam a piece of plywood against his head for almost a full minute.

Clearly, man is the superior species.

  • he didnt believe that truly believing in yourself is enough to succeeed

  • I'm pretty sure he got shorter in this video.

I now understand him. If you believe in yourself, you too can become short.

  • If your "plan of action" is to smack your head on it repeatedly until it works, it should be needless to say that it's the weak link in your formula.

  • So that's why they use 1x12 pine in karate classes instead of plywood like he used! Hmmm.

  • I just love how disappointed he sounds at the end.

  • He survived with only tribial brane damblage.

  • @XmXFLUXmX2

    *started

  • @XmXFLUXmX2

    You spelt brain wrong

  • @XmXFLUXmX2 I can't believe someone knows what this is. I love you.

  • He survived with only tribial brane damblage.

  • The lesson here is also to wear a helmet perhaps if you must do these things. Setting realistic goals would've been fun

  • "what have we learned here?"

Well...' we ' didn't learn anything 'cause we already knew....wood of that thickness is hard to break with your head. Now go and enjoy your concussion....

  • action starts at 1:04

  • Hey, he eventually managed it. Give the guy some credit.

  • INSPIRATIONAL!

  • I believe in you, do it again!

  • Believe in yourself. Accept you can't break boards with your face.

  • Enough with the inspirational crap. If you just pause and ponder for a while for some knowledge, then you would know that your forehead is much tougher and less sensitive to concussion than the top of your head.

I'm not saying that you shouldn't have done that; but may be, just may be, spirit is not enough. Sometimes, a bit of knowledge can go a long way. In this case: use the forehead.

    Or a hammer.

  • 2:28

is when his brain briefly wakes up from it's coma.

  • I didn't realise that believing in myself and giving myself a concussion are the same thing. Thanks, guy!

  • Yeah, you're not supposed to use a giant piece of plywood. The energy is too spread out. That's why karate masters use small compact pieces of wood and you have to hit it in a particular spot to get it to break.

But I'm sure you've already been told this.

  • Sent here by "cracked.com"

  • how abt u flip the board...n try again!!

  • cracked sent me here

  • What the fuck has that piece of wood ever done to you, that you need to break it and give yourself a concussion (like a jackass, NOT a boss) to prove anything?

  • The real lesson here is that by slowly battering away at a problem you can cause yourself serious harm.

  • Crackef

  • I've been inspired, I now believe.

  • What have we learned here? You're a tit

  • What have we learned here? It's not external factors, it's Internal. Yours for example is your an Idiot.

  • This guy must work for company 'Y'.

  • Yes, follow through with things... even if said things give you a concussion.

  • Cracked

  • ....and they live among us!!!

  • I can see brain cells dying

  • i think he damaged his brain the first time so...

  • You need a longer piece of wood for this. It's all about the leverage.

  • WHAT IS HE TRYING TO PROVE BY HITTING HIMSELF OVER AND OVER....

  • Proof that head injuries lower your IQ: He actually posted this video instead of hiding it from the world the way any rational person would.

Funny stuff, but after his first twenty or thirty tries, MY head started to hurt just from watching him.

  • It's obvious that the boards themselves had a much better plan on how NOT to break.

  • @Schatzmass The boards - planning ahead.

  • LOVE the look on his face at 2:40... oh man... ROFL

  • Those are the most resilient board of woods I've ever seen. I like at the end how he looks like he's going to pass out.

  • BELIEVE HARDER!

  • If you fail, it's all your fault! ... So motivational.

  • Knew I should have gone with the particle board.

  • Success: 10% inspiration, 90% perspiration, and 120% not being insane. So this guy kinda doesn't succeed.

  • If only he had known the difference between trying to break a board and trying to break a sheet of plywood.

And why did he switch to a fresh piece around 2:20? He'd been making progress with the first one.

  • This idiot hit himself 19 times in the head. He clearly had brain damage before filming this.

  • FOCUS THE FORCE ON THE BIT THAT'S NOT CRACKED!!!! RAAAAR!!!

  • Brain damaging

    IQ Dropping

    Losing Control of bowels

  • I was expecting a concussion.

  • Wow, you must not be believing in yourself enough. Use the force, Luke!

  • that looks like 1/2 in dork...LOL

  • Karate isn'y for everyone it's for Asians

  • what have we learned? plywood is much harder to break than you thought. a plain board actually would have broken pretty easily if you snapped it with the grain

  • @jowens5146 Not to mention the size and shape of the board was dispersing the impact across the board.

  • @KaiTenSatsuma not really. actually the wider the board is the easier it is to break because you get more leverage on the breaking point when you hold it the way he is.

  • 72 people couldn't break their own boards.

  • i can't believe he almost broke his neck just as an illustration

  • This has to be a stunt done just for the irony, right?

  • Awesome.

  • I did it.

  • Woah, concussion.

  • So I can break the laws of physics?

  • This video is proof that the Tinkerbell Strategy is completely and utterly bupkis.

  • No self-confident person would abuse themselves like that. I'm sure there's some sort of speaker you can go to, to show you how to be more confident.

    ../snark

  • Dude, ever think of being a quarterback for the Phila Eagles? You can take a hit better than Vick can.

Now, seriously - you shouldn't have any children of your own. Really. Just let it end with you, PLEASE.

  • that was a good christina article

  • you stupid motherfucker!! you cant do shit faggot, im gunna eat yer butt fer dinner

  • Oh hahaha my god. I guess his belief levels were at -1

  • dude on tosh.o u said u had 'about a million' views. bahaha!

  • If I laugh at this, am I going to hell for laughing at someone who most likely lost brain cells due to this?

  • @ThunderCavalier Brain cells replenish, you can laugh.

  • Suddenly, CONCUSSION!

  • Moral of the video: Believing in yourself is a good motivator, but not necessarily enough.

  • I can understand how some people might do such a video, but I don't understand why they actually go and post them online !! why?

  • @w32sdfa why would you make it if you weren't going to put it online? The only people who make garage inspirational videos about the power of believing in yourself are attention whores who think that 275,000 hits on YouTube are worth taking 275,000 hits to the head.

  • @Giondi If you make a video with the purpose of demonstrating something, and you fail to do that, there's no need to post it online, unless, you really want people to laugh at you.

  • @w32sdfa Hence attention whore.

  • Concussion?...

  • Dude, just use balsa wood and pretend it's plywood, half the audience probably won't notice.

  • is this guy serious or is this meant to be hilarious? xD

  • Dude, you are talking about planning and clearly failing at that. Also I recommend adding asessment in to the formula. And not being a moron.

  • You have to be smarter than the board to break it. Smart enough to use pine at least.

  • Hehe, you can see his soul breaking every time it doesnt work.

  • 1:50 to see the worlds first attempt at making a helicopter using nothing but a human and a piece of plywood.

  • Hey give this guy a break, he followed through and sucked up his pride to post this video for all of us to watch /giggle/ at!

  • So the moral of the story is, if you waste enough time and resources on a problem that you could have solved with a better approach (say, a ciruclar saw) with less effort, it's good cause you believe in yourself! YEAH!

  • This guy has all the makings of a politician. A true idiot.

  • This just goes to show that if you believe in yourself, form a plan of action and follow through, you too can give yourself brain damage.

  • @blazinfasstt what makes you think he has one?

  • @blazinfasstt for brain damage, you first need a brain

  • @blazinfasstt one of the best bit of sarcasm ever.

    Thumb up for you!

  • @blazinfasstt

His brain was damaged before for sure ;d

  • They told me I could be anything...

So I decided to be a tabletop

  • Dude, I'm not going to ply. That was more pathetic than I thought if ever it wood.

  • middle management material there

  • If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. (Unless you're trying to break a board over your head!)

  • I'm putting all of my energy into believing that you're not an idiot asshole. Nope. It's just not working. My failing I guess.

  • Man, who'da thought PLYwood would bend rather than break.

  • The slow, slightly slurred speech? That strange, inappropriate laughter? That blank stare?

    I'm guessing he's quite concussed.

  • @Specter40364 thats not what i felt when i got a concussion at all, i was feeling more like "oh god i'm going to die"
