Your video(s) regarding particulate matter are amazing in that I have never had this problem.
I use Lowe's stainless steel wall plates. I wash them following all prep with dawn dish washing soap, rinse in tap water, soak in vinegar for 2-3 hours, then clean and rise in distilled water. My plates are then conditioned continuously for 2 days.
Never have I had a single grain of particulate matter using 100% sodium hydroxide.
