i had this amazing game on ps2 (before i refunded it and got the ps3 version of it) and it sucked the ps2 version sucked the puzzles were just okay and the graphics and costume not bothered explaining how it SUCKS when i got the ps3 version it was AMAZING puzzles were advanced more combat action it was waayyy better then the ps2 version no offence just recomending this to people that are thinking to buy it or just intrested oh btw don't get this on ds or ps2 i suggest ps3,pc, and x-box 360 thanx
@anakgaul7945 Not everyone can afford a PS3 or XBox360 so they have no choice to get it on PS2. Actually the PC version isn't very good either unless you have a superfast PC and top graphics card.

@Ray39UK yeha but most ppl who choose to game on the pc have the current stuff (otherwise you'd play on a console) usualy though the best versions of multiplatofrmers are the pc versions (maxed ofcourse but max is the only way to go)
@Ray39UK Not really.You don't need to own a god like computer to play this.Of course,if you want super awesome graphics you should get the PS3 or Xbox360 but on a regular conmputer the graphics are similar too.
@GuitarFreakBoi17 Laras runs a bit funny on the PS2 version and she sometimes wobbles her hands about as thought she's about to fall over. If she is motion capured then it must have been done differently.
I lucked out, found it for $3.74 at Target on clearance. Hoping it should be good for that low a price. Reminds me, still have to play Legends, picked that up used for $5. :-)
what did you think of the game and it's quality? because i wanna buy it for ps2 but people say it's not worth buying, but i really want this game, and i don't wanna have to spend over 300 for a ps3 just for tomb raider. if i had that kind of money i would x_x
There's been a lot of complaints about the game because the colours took dreary and gray, and so much as been cut out compared to the PS3 version. But it is still fun to play in my opinion, if you're still not sure buy a cheap one from ebay.
ah well, as long as it's fun to play, i'll get it no matter what the cost, i'm sure i'll love it anyway and i could get my cousin to get the PS3 version :]
just too bad lara doesn't get wet on her skin,hair and clothes when she comes out of the water that looks so unrealistic and the water itself too i think she also has to get wet on ps2 version ;( but further it's a good game and i'm happy there don't come any spiders,sharks (little and big ones) in
You can only unlock the extra costumes after you complete the game, then when you begin again it will give you a list of costumes and weapons to select at the begining of each level. You only need to complete it once to unlock everything, it doesn't give you anything extra for the treasures you pick up.

I must admit it's really not fair that they cut graphics and levels off this version so that people would buy the more expensive versions.

I didn't think the PS2 version was that difficult, you may have to look up a walkthrough there are quite a few on Youtube.
