Well no 4wd will drive on the snow like a car on a road, if ur going forward in control on such powdery snow it means the 4WD system is good and functional. If u are an eskimo u shud probably get a snowmobile.

my lil sister has a tiguan 2010 4 motion but i think it's not the same 4 motion and the 4x4 like other trucks 4 motion is like quatrro from audi

last haldex works quite good. now there's no delay before 2nd pair of weels switch on. it's locked before you start to drive

Unfortunately, this suv, is not for off-road... because the haldex diff can't send the power very well. For very light off-road and on-road snow it is ok.

yes they are SUVs but haldex is the perfect choice for offroad..

So far I know that 2 softroader crossover offer full time 4WD like Outlander & Forester, the rest are just AWD

on-demand. I own a 2006 CRV real time

4WD but no difference with the rest of the wannabe's though it rides good. If i'm going to buy a new one I will choose between a Forester or Outlander

What 4Motion? The dealer who sold them this vw, saw them coming ha they got sold the 2 wheel drive version of the Tiguan to them, not the 4 wheel drive version.
