@Mrminecraftman3000 I play Minecraft... but why is it better? The only "boss" is the Enderdragon and that thing is freaking ridiculous, and Minecrafts "End game" is diamond ore. Which is a million times easier to get and less rewarding then magical weapons, better long range weapons, boss fights and different biomes like the corruption and hallow.

Minecraft is a good game, but to insist its better then Terraria is ignorant and.... kinda stupid really.

@ExcaliburSonic1594 They are different games with similar aspects. Minecraft is more about being creative and building stuff, where Terraria is more about the killing bosses and getting better gear and such. Both games have other aspects as well, but they're mainly focused on different things, so you cant argue that one is better then the other.

Then you would be speaking opinions, and not facts.

Destroying more demon altars actually blesses your world with more ore. But the first time your world it's blessed by an ore it's a massive amount.

@MrEseltryne you need molten pickaxe, and use that to mine the cobalt, get enough cobalt to make a cobalt drill, then with that you can mine mythril, and with a mythril drill you can then mine the adamantite

@zacb146 you have to beat the wall of flesh to turn on hardmode which is a requirement, along with having the pwnhammer to destroy a demon altar

Cobalt is blue, Mythril is a green color, but has a texture similar to that of Ebonstone, and Adamantite is a pinkish color.

@Crsader101 Yes! It cycles through cobalt, mythril, and adamantite ores in that order. Sadly, every few times, it will begin to decrease the amount you get, though it's on a per-world basis, so if you start a new world, you can get more by re-beating the WoF and destroying more altars.

Killing the wall of flesh only turns on hard mode and your character will not be deleted upon death while playing in this mode. I have an easy mode character who drops half the coins carried on death and I'm playing in the world after killing the wall of flesh.

@navzar1999 you first need to mine cobalt, then craft a cobalt drill. Use it to mine the mythril and then make a mythril drill and then you can mine adamantite! hope this helped =D

GUYS....i have a huge path from top to hell(as many) and i always check the blocks(even after WoF)and there was none cobalt or mithril or adamantine....then i smash 7 demon altar and i found 2 veines of mithril 1 of cobalt and 1 of adam(that i cant break yet :'( .......)
