I have to imagine that if Goldberg had debuted in the 1980s, he likely would have had a Russian gimmick and would have come out of Eddie Sharkey's wrestling school with the LOD, Nord, Nikita Koloff, Barry Darsow and Rick Rude.

I actually loved waking up Saturday mornings as a kid for WCW Main Event, followed by WCW WorldWide. I couldn't get enough of wrestling back then.
