Hey Bulldog Bass cover

I have a Hofner just like that. It's one of the weirdest basses I've ever played, But nothing comes close to the tone that crazy thing makes.

i really love the guitar solo..we assume its george...BUT...i bet paul plays the solo..because it is very much like his bass playing...i think thats what gives it away...also on "fixin a hole:"...i bet paul played that solo too....

@ChiroQuacker i just looked it up on beatle song facts it is george according to them here's the quote. One of George's best guitar solos in this song. Man this awesome bass riff was the reason for me to even considering owning a bass and my awesome friend said he has a Rickenbacker 4001 just like Paul's and he said he doesn't want it and he told I could have it and i said hell yeah and I'm getting it for free and he is an awesome friend and I'm getting it next weekend.

As for the Hofner question, post -Rubber Soul almost all of Paul's studio work was done on his Rickenbacker, which is considered by most a superior bass to the Hofner.
