I like how sassy this princess is. Usually princesses are shown to be cheerful wide eyed dreamers that hope for true love especially in Disney but this one is so down to earth. She kind of reminds me of Darlene from Roseanne. I like that she is just marrying the prince for money because that what most princesses seem like they're really doing anyway and love doesn't happen in just three seconds or days or weeks. It takes time.
She doesn't even love him. The "princess" just hears the parents overtalking about the jewels then says yes. And another thing, how would it work if he married a mermaid. It wouldn't.
