Instead of even making Fallout NV they shoulda just made Fallout 3 2.0 with better followers and the same game mechanics as NV but without the bugs. I'd much rather have had that. Just the story of Fallout 3 is so much better.

@Eli3459 fawkes by far was the best.... but he had the worst dialogue ever! and i sorta shot him a few times for killing everyone in megaton (idk why) but he turned on me and it took 4 mini nukes, 31 rockets, and 780 flamer fuel to bring him down!! XD he was definatly a good one!

Sergeant RL-3 sucks if you don't have the Broken Steel add-on. If you do, he will become practically invincible.

With Broken Steel installed RL-3 levels up with the player gaining 350 HP each time you level up. He is the 2nd best follower next to Fawkes if you have Broken Steel because of the glitch.

I have my "BoS special forces squad".

Red, annoying man, star paladin, dog meat, reds friend, and Charon. They're all fitted with BoS power armor except Charon and Red. They have T51-b.

And I fitted them each with whatever they're good with.

Red- Assault rifle

Annoying Man- Assault rifle

Star Paladin- Plasma rifle

Reds friend- Assault rifle

Charon- His shotgun.

i like jericho.he's a good early companion in the game, has a chinese A.R, AND he can wear power armor.fawkes is good but he cant wear armor (like he needs it) but its THAT much more protection he has. I know that Fawkes is pretty much impossible to kill and he has a gatling laser and all. But hands down, my favorite follower has to be dogmeat. I mean c'mon, he's mans' best friend for starters, he can find anything you ask him to find like weapons, ammo, and chems, and with the broken steel add on, you can get the puppies perk which I think doubles his HP if he dies, and at level 30, his HP is really high anyway :D

You need schematics to get it, you can get the schematics at:

-MDPL 13 Power station

-Rivet city, from Abraham Washington after completing the quest "Stealing Independence" (however this is only a possible reward)

-Museum of history, In underworld its sold in outfitters by Tulip.
