  • Frickin' Brilliant!!! --- on so many levels!!!

  • FOR HE IS THE QUIZNO'S HAT RACK!!

  • There will always be people that rant and rave about how Lynch's movie doesn't do the books justice. For me, it is an awesome movie in and of itself, and I doubt any future literary adaptations of the Dune series will come even close to this work of art.

  • the book simply didn't do the movies justice

  • LOL! ^_^

  • 0:13 I CAME!

  • THE TRUTH ACCORDING TO THE 1 & ONLY ME!

MOST AWESOME/CLOSEST TO THE SOURCE MATERIAL: The Lynch version There is simply no comparison. Please don't try; on this point I will bend like a willow but I won't bend far. Lynch's imaginative landscapes, characters and action brought the book alive for me & is awesomeness bar none..

MiINISERIES?: Yucky. Deadness beyond belief. NO NO NO. Time for the people responsible to meet the Gom Jabbar.

CONCLUSION is obvious. Stick with #1!

  • This is fucking amazing.

  • @Einheri89 she came... she saw... ahe conquered baby :P

  • Someone do a parody of this called Cusinart Cataliac

  • Eastended... again

  • Comment removed

  • @Johnlindsey289 Awww poor big baby

  • Very funny stuff!

  • for he is the knicknack paddywack...give the dog a bone!

  • Man I love it when she says 'For he IS the Kwisatz Haderach!' It was just so epic... And the East Enders suddenly appeaed and I just died laughing... WTF LOL... Dead...

  • And why did he squee? Because I DID kick his happysacks!

  • for he is the cuisinarts cataract.

  • And how she does pee? For she is a nymphomaniac.

  • boy this movie was poorly made. David lynch should have walked away halfway through

  • @zee339

Because he wasn't happy making Dune for he knew he wasn't the right man for the part but i do have some love-hate relationship with this movie such as the awesome score, some decent acting by some actors, some nice visuals etc. but the bad thing is that it was a Lynch movie, not a true adaptation of the book, some bad acting, some digusting material created by Lynch, the ending and that sort of thing.

  • LOL!!! you guys made laugh so much with the variations

  • For he IS the knick-knack paddy-whack!

  • @laflugantabastardo Hahahaha... Good one. Thumbs up!

  • LOL... the story was written to mirror sex. long steady build up. climax... roll credits.

  • And where has all my blood gone?

    For I am a haemophilliac...

  • For she IS the punany.

  • lmao

  • For she IS the slammin' little read head now.

  • The movie simply didn't do the books justice.

  • I really liked this move. I'm annoyed at how for every book there's a movie made from everyone says the movie is crap. It's so cliche.

  • I completely agree. This movie takes too many liberties with the plot and the actual storyline of the novel. Good thing the Dune miniseries came along.

  • @ShadowKayvaan Dune the miniseries? My god was there ever such a hash up? The damned thing had Paul being nothing but I whining brat that I hoped the Harkonan would kill! The Bene Gesserit sisterhood was reduced to a clutch of whimpering weak-minded people, hardly women feared by the most powerful beings in the universe.

While the earlier version wasn't faithful to the story, though I thought that it certainly captured the characters and meaning behind it, the miniseries...

  • ... scrapped anything of the characters in the book. I could have bloody well been watching any POS rooting around tv these days with a stereotypical whining, complaining teen-aged boy. "Dune as done by MTV" if there were ever such a horror.

And damned, what twilight-friendly piece of crap is gonna be unleashed in the new version?

  • @CommanderSavage

Don't worry, a new 3 or 4 possibly part new big screen Dune movie will come soon.

  • @CommanderSavage Yet it was closer than most adaptations of novels (look at Lord of The Rings). I wish fanboys would stop whining about the changes in the film. It was a good film and captured the spirit and most of the plot of Herbert's Dune.

  • LOL.

The actress playing Alia is none other than Alicia Witt, who later played Zoe, Cybill Shepherd's daughter in "Cybill". In episodes of "Cybill" there's a "Dune" poster on Zoe's bedroom wall--a little in-joke by the producers, I guess.

  • HAHAHAHAH

  • hahaha unexpected would have been an epic eastenders id probably watch it

  • For he drives the wizard's cadillac

  • lol

  • For his word gives a fatal heart attack.

  • No? "For he served onboard the Merrimack?"

  • @1poiuztrewq2 vex! any and all who know (!) then do @1*999;

  • Am I the only one? Whenever that little girl says Quizaisadderac, my spine tingles!

  • that is good because as far as i know that was the intent of the Film and books

  • That was HILARIOUS!

  • lol! FTW

  • Nice! Now make one with a Doctor Who ending ;)

  • Winner.

  • I loved the ending, cool thought. I watched that show diligently in my youth!

  • ROFL...luvvin it

  • Hahahah... Good one.

  • "CREEEPY little bitch!"

She's the hotness now. Her name is Alicia Witt and she is one slammin' lil redhead.

    Possibly even hotter than spricket24.

  • She is MY slammin' little redhead.

  • OMG.
