Just wanted to correct a few lyrics...he says "You have the suffer at the end of the knife" not night and also he says "Don't you want eternal life?" not the part with "Tell no lies" ^^ -has the CD and the lyrics booklet-

The German version is much better. I think that's true for all of Oomph's songs. When they do a song in English, the lyrics seem forced and doesn't fit well. It also looses the depth and complexity of the German lyrics.

@Shasta920 Listening to the English version you would think so. The original had more going on. On the surface it had a "Little Red Riding Hood" feeling to it. A girl asking her grandmother: "Why are your lips so dark?" "Why is your hear so full" Why are you still so young?" As you listen to the German lyrics you again think its about what people would do for wealth and beauty. But if you listen closely it is obvious there is something darker going on then plastic surgery.
