  • I like the german version so much better :/

  • i like this song now xD

  • This one of the few English versions of their songs that I like just as much or slightly more than the German version! I think it does a good job of keeping to the meaning of the original and still sounds very good.

  • my aunt hates this song. i think she is messed up in the head.

  • anyone have any requests?

  • luv this song soooo much!!!! but the perfect hottie thing ruins it. I STILL LUV IT!!!!

  • *_* love this song cool

  • Just wanted to correct a few lyrics...he says "You have the suffer at the end of the knife" not night and also he says "Don't you want eternal life?" not the part with "Tell no lies" ^^ -has the CD and the lyrics booklet-

But thank you for posting this...hard to find a good quality one with lyrics.

  • @bobby45638 thanks I for the correct lyrics. :)

  • What's the german version called?

  • @destury119 Wer schön sein will muss leiden

  • "how come you're such a perfect hottie?" LMFAO

  • This version's ok, since nothing from Oomph! is bad, except a couple songs, but the German version is way better.

  • Industrial Metal HAS to be sang in german, sorry!

  • Nein, only german original version ROCKS

  • I prefer it inGerman

  • The German version is much better. I think that's true for all of Oomph's songs. When they do a song in English, the lyrics seem forced and doesn't fit well. It also looses the depth and complexity of the German lyrics.

  • sorry for taking forever on the instermental version thing, my stereo is being repaired it ruins cds and taped T_T , sorry YoguBear, soon as i get it back I'll get working on it again.

  • is this song about surgery?

  • @Shasta920 Listening to the English version you would think so. The original had more going on. On the surface it had a "Little Red Riding Hood" feeling to it. A girl asking her grandmother: "Why are your lips so dark?" "Why is your hear so full" Why are you still so young?" As you listen to the German lyrics you again think its about what people would do for wealth and beauty. But if you listen closely it is obvious there is something darker going on then plastic surgery.

  • @Shasta920 - yes it is little girl is askin her gram why ... geman virsion is more GRAPHIC

  • Thanks for posting the video! <3 Though I think the end of the song is "That's the price you pay for fortune, fame, your name in lights, don't you want eternal life?" Instead of "Don't you want it tell no lies!" <3 Thanks for the video!

  • 'Grandmother, grandmother, tell me why you're still so young' reminds me of Flemeth from Dragon Age.
