  • noob. No bajas nada, i encima posicionas mal.

  • Good work guys.

  • Thank you, retgdde!

  • parece komo si estuvieras bailando o algo asi le ase falta fuerza y podrias mejorar mucho mas metiendole el ponch mas

  • haamm creo k rus posisiones se ven flojas sin fuerza y creo k un cinta negra es el k deberia enseñar

  • I appreciate your attitude and forward thinking. I agree that everyone has their own "way". I think people get caught up in sometimes. Rank doesn't mean anything in a self defense situation.

  • Thank you, Jeremey71!

  • are you a yellow belt?

    nice kata. well done.

  • Thank you very much, MarturashiClan!

I have an orange belt in jujutsu and a yellow belt in Judo but I didn't grade in Karate.

  • Hi which shito ryu genbukai dojo do you train at? is it the one in stutgart?

    Thanks for sharing your videos

    shinbo

  • its not your rank that should matter about teaching. if you are in a real traditional school your sensei will most likely not like that you are teaching without his blessing. you must make sure that you have a solid understanding before moving on to teaching someone else. all that will do is tear down your karate one person at a time. as an instructor i would never allow someone with that low of a rank to teach anyone anything. in my school i do not allow anyone under 6th kyu to teach.

  • Thanks for the comment, katafreak!

I'm sure you are an excellent teacher and that you are doing the best for your students. In most the schools I've been training the trainers are less conservative and encourage exchange of experience between students. I have also learned the one or the other interresting detail from other kyu-ranked practitioners, both higher and lower ranked than me. Each person has his own martial arts and real life background, and that is a great pool to draw upon.

  • I'm agree with katafreak.. i'm a student of karate shito-ryu too but i have more rank than you konta... this is not a offense but you dont understand the really aplication of the kata and you need emprove the positions cause that wasnt really good!!

  • I won't say anyhting bad like some people have but I will offer some tips. Your timing is way off and you seem very nervous. You have the power behind your movements but not the focus. Slow it down and make each movement deliberate. That will also help with the power. It doesn't matter if you know the movemnets if you're not focussing. Overall though your stance was pretty good and you're not bad at all. Just keep practicing. =)

  • Thank you for for the support, melissaurroz, I appreciate it!

  • This is very low level.

Karate techniques V Karate techniques is a low level understanding of the principles and applications behind kihon found in kata.

I would stick to learning rather than boosting your ego by making videos of things that you have very little understand of.

If you would like help, please send me a message.

  • As the title suggests it is supposed to be "low level", as it covers the basics of the kata, going just somewhat beyond the kihon.

    Thanks for the comment!

  • I can live better with low level applications from low level practioners. Done whith their belt for all to see.

I also think it is good to get to know the BIG ego trap named teaching early.

Hopefully by his shodan he has left both behind already. Due to his experiments here.

Maybe he already just graps the ear, hair or neck in the gedan barai turn instead of a misplaced seoi nage.

There is a difference between basic and misunderstood bunkai.

  • that was hillarious!!! why the hell do you think you have the right to teach people? you are a yellow belt! a bad yellow belt! so give it up you're living in a fantasy, you arrogant little man.

  • Thank you for the comment, hssp900!

I do not pretend to be a master.

What little I have to offer I offer for free, and that does not require the glittering shine of a belt and a licence. Accept what you find useful and reject what you do not, just a Bruce Lee said, but there is no need to slander people like me who share out of love for martial arts.

I can only suggest you to find some people you can teach your superior skill, for free, just as me and many true martial artists.

  • Well done guys! Looks great.

  • Thank you, jaytaxz!

  • very nice weird though in other styles in my Shotokan style it is called Heian Sho-Dan with slight differences. Very nice none the less 5 stars.

  • Thanks for your comment, Rick! The kata was renamed into sho-dan later on as it is easier and was taught "first" anyway. But as far as I know Anko Itosu develeped it as the second of the Pinan/Heian series and in Shito-ryu as well as some other styles the original name has been kept.

  • well done, great video!!! and slow motion is very funny (especially your shouting :D)

  • lol!

  • No, Itosu taught taught this second, hence the name nidan. It was Funakoshi who changed the order and names around.

  • Thanks for the comment, Shrekka!

I've written just the same, I referred to Funakoshi as I wrote that it was taught first =)

  • excellent vid. 5/5 Thank you...

  • Thank you for the comment and rating, dansta187!
