  • Somebody fire Dumars

  • What Mason Said?? can Anyone write it down for me please??

I understand few parts but i want to understand it all.

  • I remember hearing Chauncey say he had to hold back tears at this moment. Shows how much he loved Detroit as much as we loved him!

  • I was hoping this would happen. The fans giving him a standing ovation when he would come back and they did. I got choked up watching this lol.

  • same here. i appreciate the class of the detroit fans.

  • great ovation for a classy guy but would the PA guy just shut up? ovations are more riveting without that blabbering nonsense!

  • r u kidding me george mason is amazing. best announcer in the nba no question

  • Your jelous he is better than your PA guy. If he sucked than why was he asked to do the allstar game in 07. Sorry but Detroit has the most creative PA announcer in the league.

  • guy might be the best PA guy in the world but i wouldve appreciated hearing the outstanding and emotional ovation Chauncey was given without all the yelling by the PA guy. Sometimes silence is golden. It's like when broadcasters ruin games by talking too much

  • its totally different

this is pumping people up your refering to bill walton talking while on acid

  • fuck u thats the whole point u asshole

its as much about how great mason is as an announcer

  • classy response bud, real classy...you resort to swearing because some disagrees with you, hahaha...and as for mason going nuts to pump people up, it'd be a shame if the pistons fans needed to be jacked to cheer on Mr. Big Shot...they clearly did not need any extra motivation to cheer on a Piston great, just wouldve been nice to hear a "pure raw ovation" and not all the pyrotechnics out of mason's mouth!

  • Dang i was in tears, i miss this guy in Pistons lineup!!! I thought Billups and Hamilton will play as forever but oh well, Chauncey Billups is my MVP

  • I luv Chauncey billups great PG probably one of the best.....but it had to be done, but I love A.I he is doing his job I don't agree him being on the bench because he did his job as a line He avg more Assis then the PG and scored 18 points and shared the ball....but maybe it be better him getting off the bench...

  • A.I destroyed our strong team chemestry. He destroyed our team. The only reason we even traded for him was so we could trade him in the 2010 free agency market.

  • How the hell did it destroy watch some pistons and pay attention if you wanna point fingers point at MC and Stuck mostly MC cuz Stuck did what MC told him....A.I played his game and sacrificed so much more then anyone...And if we just stuck to the A.I and Rip backcourt and it would work but MC couldn't wait and wanted to put in Rodney soo fast he didnt even care if he was unexperiance...we only tried working the A.I and Rip back court for 2 weeks thats not even 10 games...

  • 5-0 without A.I we havent lost when he wasnt playing in a game

  • we went 7-0 with out RIP while A.I was taking over...and I still say we need rip and we cant win with out RIP or A.I....Get your facts right u seem to talk a lot of shit but none to back it up....Im done peace out

  • We are better with Rip startin and everyone knows it, when he starts, we play TEAM D. When iverson is in he created a defensive liablity hes small and people take advantage of that. He gets a couple steals but thats cuz he over plays, and gets burned alot because of it. Without Iverson the pistons are a TEAM.

  • I give u 1 he is small and we do need RIP in the line up.....Maybe A.I of the bench isn't all that bad maybe it work out he can run with younger guys Like Affalo and Walter Max that sounds good...But A.I earned that starting line up spot he worked hard he sacrificed more then anyone...and he avg 8 assts a game....and A.I being out is not good first he is the best asst maker in the team and we need a 6th man right now cuz our bench played bad the last game!!!..Like I said we need ai

  • I like iverson coming off the bench, he could be like The Microwave in the old days, i think the only reason he has the most assists is cuz when he is in the game he always has the ball, and he draws alot of attention so he finds guys open. I would love to see him come off the bench with the younger guys like you said, if that works out, we would be the best. No doubt, it would be awesome.

  • and were 3-0 with out A.I U don't seem to watch a lot of pistons stick to the red wings

  • Chauncey, we will always have love for you in the D.

  • :'(

  • Wow, the ovation for Chauncey was very loud you can barely hear mason's introduction and he truly deserves it... Tnx for the memories Chauncey, you will always be No. 1 in our hearts and Mr. Big Shot in every pistons fan all over the world...

  • wow thats great

i feel bad for pistons fans to be stuck with iverson instead of chauncey now

  • Chauncey Billups is the reason why I became a Pistons fan back in 03 and I live in CA. True fans will stay loyal no matter what the situation. Thank you Chauncey for the great memories in Detroit. You are Piston god!

  • i cried!! :(

it hurts so bad when he left!!!

  • Awesome! We miss you Chauncey.

  • wow that gives me madd goosebumps. it shows you how much luv detroit still gots for mr big shot. he will always be a piston in our hearts. that ovation was insane, you could hardly hear mason. i'll be wearin his detroit jersey tomorro.

Thanks for the memories chauncey. come back and retire with us wont ya?
