You were correct that the capital is Chang'an, I am not sure what TheXanian is talking about.

The capital of the Tang Dynasty was Chang'an, but the capital of the Song Dynasty was Kaifeng.

The Tang Dynasty ruled from 618 - 907 A.D. Much of the info hear is slightly incorrect; however, their is a good amount of facts.

I just want to correct you that the capital of the Northern Suong Dynasty is not Chang'an, in fact it's Kaifeng.
