  • I THINK I`M IN LOVE.

  • Very cool! Thank you for show it

  • Those are some real Nunchaku. Not that fake shit we have in America.

  • hey awsome

  • Very cool. I got a pair of Nun chucks for X-mas and I am going to learn how to do what she just did.

  • If you actually know how to use nunchuks, you'd know that more than half of that was just for show and not useful at all

  • @20starcombomaker actaully she was continuously moving so it was all useful, unless she doesnt train with them to strike things. thats harder than flowing with them becz when you hit a surface they snap back and you have to essentially dodge your own weapon.

  • i feel stupid for hitting myself 100 times with the foam one....

  • fluid movements, cool steel chucks, cute girl...

  • Comment removed

  • i wanted those steel ones but theyre not available in the states :(

  • I love the nunchuks I mean staffs are great but nothing compares to the strange unorthadox yet fluid motion of them (although I"m no where near as skilled as I wish I was)

  • @rysiskailepai

Different weapons have different strengths. I think that a staff might actually be a better weapon against the nunchacku simply because of the reach and the ability to stop the fluidity of the nunchacku.

It depends on the user behind each weapon too, though.

  • @Gronarix i was using a 6 foot staff and sparring with my Sifu who was using nunchacku. in the blink of an eye he used the chain to wrap the staff and snatch it out of my hands. as you said, its all in who is using the weapon!

  • @puffpuffpass87 When my dad was teaching me he did the same thing but with my arm

  • @rysiskailepai ouch. with the pinching and such lol

  • @Gronarix Yeah I get what your saying I mean if it was a life or death situation a sword or a staff would be my choice but I feel so alive when I have nunchuks

  • yes! it warms my hart to see fellow asians pursuing martial arts :')

  • I think I'm in love <3

  • yeah, but can she cook?

  • saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhh

  • Is this Chinese style of Nunchaku, because I've seen and learned only Okinawan, and I heard the chain/rope on Chinese ones are longer.

  • Ain't no one gonna rape her XD

  • chan' nhin duoc vai dong tac don gian?

  • @WooodYaard your not the only one dude XD

  • @WooodYaard no sir you are not lmao

  • it looks like lazy baton twirling

  • Impractical my ass. Do you guys even realize one good swing of this can break any bone on contact?

All of you people obviously have never trained with real nunchucks...

  • Nunchucks are impractical due to lack of range and control. It requires vast amounts of training to have the dexterity to use it effectively and without hurting oneself.

Having said that, these weapons are highly dangerous both to the target and the inexperienced wielder. It is easy to have the nunchuck caught around a stick weapon and lose effective use if one does not train to use it in combat.

It is great for building up dexterity, posture, momentum, rhythm, and creativity though.

  • @fdesa12 What the fuck are you talking about? 1 week practice is enough to never hurt yourself ever again. And about impractical, with my nunchucks I can beat a guy with a baseball bat, knife, sword, stick, whatever. Seriously, do your fucking homework before acting like a smartass. Fucking nerds nowadays

  • @lolcrymore I think you misunderstood me. Compared to many other weapons, you have a relatively higher chance of hurting yourself IF YOU HAVE NOT TRAINED IN IT! Obviously someone who's never worked with a sword nor a nunchuck will hurt him/herself, but it is more the case with the nunchuck! So that one week of practice, I guarantee you someone will hurt themselves more likely before becoming decent with it.

As for the bat, knife, etc, why are you assuming your opponent sucks?

  • Here, let me paste the exact wording again: " It is easy to have the nunchuck caught around a stick weapon and lose effective use if one does not train to use it in combat." If one does not train to use it in combat.

Just like Tae Kwon Do and Wushu, not as useful if not trained for combat as it is for more performance/ Olympic competitions. If you train to fight with it, great. You made it practical for you. I've only seen most people do it for the flashy tricks and maneuvers.

  • @fdesa12 I agree with your main point but disagree with your reasoning. True, there is a distinct difference between freestyle nunchucking and nunchucking for martial arts. You can tell the difference: if someone is just spinning them for flash or if someone is actually entering and exiting strikes, counter-strikes, etc. But for typical self-defense against a thug on the street, it doesn't take much training to know how to hit a person in the face with a nunchuck without hurting yourself.

  • @fdesa12 And let me clarify, it may be easy to put down an unarmed attacker with nunchucks. And I probably feel like most nunchaku practitioners that with my experience I can even take a guy with a bat, knife, etc. I still do not reccomend nunchaku for self-defense. They are hard to conceal. Typical (but not all) nunchaku forms require total body motion; motion you may not have in a survival scenario. Above all, nunchucks don't stop bullets. I carry a knife. I recommend a TASER or pepperspray.

  • @Trojanballer54 Ah yes, that's probably what I should have touched upon in my explanation instead of directly rebutting the specifics of someone's comment. Thanks for clarifying and explaining.

  • she's got some skill, but these weapons are so unusable! the joint in the center doubles the force, but it makes it unstable, and therefore unusable. these could be used to grapple other weapons, or thresh rice. but they cant be used well how she is using them. mroe like a dance.

  • @videowatcher139 what are you on about kida you can use them to fight with each to there own and how are they unstable only if you cant use them and bang ur own head in!! and when she hits her foot and that they are like to stop it and move it 2 another target faster than u can blink but u can do that with out stopers when u are good with them in another level i rate nunchuks

  • Yeeaaa great !

  • Such an impractical weapon

  • @SomeBlokeLol guns make most weapons impractical, but nonchaku-skills are still great for demonstrations, no?

  • @LuxATemporeNostro these weapons are impractical even compared to sticks! forget guns! the physics is all wrong. think about it, she hits herself to change direction. but that means it cant be too harmfull. so hitting someone else wouldnt hurt them either!!!

  • @videowatcher139 no that's not true, she slows them down when changing direction and turns up the velocity when they reach the area of attack, i don't think i want a direct hit with one of those to the head :D

  • @videowatcher139 Although I agree it is impractical, your reasoning ignores the act of "following through". If you ever swung a bat, you finish by swinging it across your body from one end to the other, not stop in the middle randomly. The point at which she hits herself to change direction is her following through with her swing. At those points, the energy is weak so it doesn't hurt. There is an intended impact point where the swing is most powerful and will hurt a lot though.

  • @SomeBlokeLol why do you think so?

  • @SomeBlokeLol if you bring a gun yes...but any hand to hand combat and it would be very useful

  • @SomeBlokeLol try getting hit with one and then say its not practical

  • I was like 0_0 the entire time

  • damn r those metal ur crazy!!
