Hey man great tone, Do you know some good speakers or a cab that goes well with a Peavey Supreme XL? I hooked it up to a 2x12 Ibanez combo and it sounded like shit!
@OldskoolDM80s90s Do you play shows at all? I had the Supreme on top of my B-52 Stealth Series cab and it sounded good until the dial was around 6 or 7, then it started to sound muddy. Pretty sure the cab was like 100 bucks tops so it's a great cab for cheap.
@Femicide09 I will start to play shows in a couple months, but mostly i will use it in my room for bedroom practice. Thanks i will look into maybe getting a B-52 cab if i can find one..
@OldskoolDM80s90s As long as you EQ and mic is correctly it'll sound great. Not to mention the thing was made of steel. I can't tell you how many times I dropped it down stairs, kicked it over, etc. Not a single problem with it.
@imhated22 No, I hate the band, BUT, there is one song that caught me by surprise off their new album. I don't recall the name but it sounded way better than their earlier stuff. Still not a fan, but I was impressed.
@imhated22 Yeh I know what you mean. IMO they ripped off The Black Dahlia big time with those riffs. The drums belong to a friend of mine who was the drummer for our band. We ended up quitting cause no one had the money or time to practice, since we can't practice at our house.
5150's are the boss. im planning on puting an acrylic faceplate on mine with flood lights in back and writing across the front. its gonna be hella tits
@theRev767 Haha. That'd be awesome. I wanted to put something like thick plastic in the front and put LEDS in it but I couldn't find anything that would work. I'm thinking about making the 5150 logo light up though. You gotta take pics when you're done.
