  • Typical 21st century weak minded people commenting I see. Why do you think Britain today is crime ridden. People get away with murders and rape. Mobs are allowed to burn buildings in London and manchester. There is no punishment. When the death penalty was in force, people thought twice. Britain today is a weak, lawless, multicultural cese pot. And I'm glad men such as Wellington and Nelson are not here to see it. They would be ashamed...

  • @MrDeano324 Over here none of that happnes. Police is really pointless over here because it's so silent here.

  • @ImperialGlory1920

    what are you on about...

  • @MrDeano324 First of all you put a "?" instead of dots. 2. riots and shit? That must ne where you live.

  • @ImperialGlory1920

I still can uderstand your comments. But firstly, it was a sarcastic question, hence no need for a question mark. And two, "riots and shit? That must ne where you live", makes no sense at all. stop replying to me.

  • @MrDeano324 What you said makes you sound like you are high on somthing. You might want to look around more before saying all that shite.

  • As far as I'm concerned, he was right about suppressing the revolutionaries and the radicals.

  • None of the ordinary soldiers got a new house or riches from Waterloo. The Scots went home to find that they were losing theirs, thanks to the clearences. Wellington was a good commander, but as a politician......

  • 72 000 v 118 000. Epic manpower overrun

  • Well, thats pretty scary, This guy sounds like Hillary Clinton. Im sad that the hero of waterloo and one of histories greatest military geniuses was a despotic bastard.

  • @mainestategop these things are relative, comparisons difficult. Saddam Hussein and Gaddaffi, it's been suggested, were generous liberals in comparison to their forebears and geographic contemporaries. The Army in Wellington's time was a mass of murderers, criminals, liars and thieves, as was the French Army. Hard men, inured to violence and used to the lash. A rum lot compared to modern example. Here we are though, still grappling with the same ideological clash.

  • @mainestategop Suppressing radical revolutionaries in order to avoid a revolution akin to the reign of terror in France is not tyrannical in my opinion. It's wise and stern.
