I am some what ashamed to say that if I had never played Brutal Legends and heard Tag Team, then I would have never heard Anvil. At the same time I'm glad that they were featured in that game as it gave Anvil a chance to be exposed to a new generation.

Love this band! Im 14 but even so i have so much respect for what they do and how influential they are, and I have to say that Metal on Metal is one of the best heavy metal albums I have ever listened to. KEEP ROCKIN' ANVIL!

@Yuppyslayer or maybe you just never got exposed to it earlier? that does not make you less intelligent. i never understood why people think others are dumb for not knowing about something like history or whatever, its not dumb when you never got exposed to it or learned it. you could tell these so called smart people to answer something about what you know and then are they stupid for not knowing? it works both ways if so but i know not knowing about something does not equal dumb.

Damn, I'd love to see these guys live sometime! I have so much respect for them after seeing Anvil: The Story of Anvil.

I, like many others, had never heard of them before that, but the story intrigued me so I tracked it down, and I have to say it's one of the best things I've seen!

It is a good documentary. A rarity in that it provides an optimistic view of being in a band.

In 1983 i had a desk in high school with 47 hand drawn band logos on it. Anvil was in the center surrounded by the likes of ozzy, priest,raven,scorpions. The only thing that stopped them was bad management and production (after CT). If you are a hater, you are either 14 or don't respect these guys for what they went through. Give them their day in the sun. They've earned it and deserve it

These guys are truly awesome. They embody everything that proper metal should be. They give me same headbanging goodtime feeling that the other great bands do. Rob is ace on drums and Lips has a cool vocal timbre too. Badass.
