I like the weight that the beat puts on 1:52 oooo yeah.... I used to have the Zoom Rhythmtrak 234 - Electribes A and S - Roland SH-32 - Yamaha AN-200 and the AirFX... Lots of fun!
nice enough old skoolish sound to it, but you have done way better on here than this one (not negative.... hi-hats let it down a little, as the rest has a nice groove).
don't ask for comments on your youtube, it's a sure fire way to get nothing but negative comments by people that have nothing better to do with their time than try to tell you're doing it wrong. I dig your track.
push the tempo to 136 or up to 144 for trance, other than that, kick in the bassline... have you tried to send midi to the EF 303, you could use that for a nice low rumble.. good stuff
The open hi hat is very 1995 - no one uses those sounds now. Then at 155 that kick and clap are totaly old and cheesey. Dont worry all noobs makes these same errors, but many dont ever get to the top level - its up to u, but learn to properly listen to each sound in your fave modern tracks. Then theres fx and compression - it takes a lot of time.
OR maybe he could make the music the way he wants to. I personally love sounds from 95', even 91'. oh lordy sometimes I even use sounds from 88'. I must be a noob
I just wanted to say nice ST224 tracks! A new forum was recently started, but I can't post a link to it in a comment. So if this seems confusing just use common sense. Come visit the forums @ " dub-dub-dub-dot sampletrak.lefora dot-com "
Hmm.. the Drumprogramming is boring. Only Kick and open HH.. You should use some percussions (twiddled with filters or pitched up/down to make somethimg new), also some closed hihats zu get some groove in your drums. Some "dikk-dikk di-di-dikk.." maybe a 808-rimshot to set some accents. I also miss a nice bassline. >> Go on! You'll make it!

Its not really trance, more minimal house.

this isn't bad at all, after the build up it could use a bassline when it comes back in at 1:51. but I'm digging it.
